I was thinking of making my fan comics with ai art instead of working with artists, so here’s my comparison: Adobe: pretty bad for making copyrighted characters, but great in photoshop for editing it seems DALL-E 3: still has some copyrighted characters issues, but better than firefly. Midjourney: best results, basically no censorship and pretty good customization. It seems much easier to use than people are saying it’s like, but I think I’ll use this for the basic comic panel and then edit with Adobe and put it in a cool layout in canva. I’ll probably also make the script in canva.

How did you get them to look like you in the first example? Are you able to upload your own photos as a reference? That GTA style looks awesome!

Yes, you can upload a reference image to help. I also have mastered the prompt to return something on the lines of what I look like 😜

or you can use stable diffusion.

not a fan of Stable Diffusion - I've found the results are not as good, imo

@@AINewsDailyUpdate I understand. I'm going for the photorealism and with different checkpoints you can customize what you get out of it. So for example you can get rid of the anime look because the checkpoint wasn't trained on anime images.

DallE3 is sick, the fact that it can do text and incorporate it into your artwork is bananas. Dont know why or how MidJourney still hasnt figured out that text and Typography matter the same any other art and art forms.

I tend to agree. Being able to incorporate text is a massive gain. So hopefully Midjourney is focussing on this
