I have 12 adult kids. My youngest is 18 and graduated last May. So first time since 1987 that I will not have a child in our school system. I been babysitting my grandkids all summer. So next Monday the older ones will be in school. I will have 2 littles. I am using a planner and doing songs and different activities with our 1 yr old grand daughter and 2 yr old grandson. And I am excited about it.

I homeschool my daughter (first year doing this) and we've been doing a summer term and we have two weeks left of that. Then fall term will start in October. I'm thrilled because there's no commute, we don't need new gym shoes necessarily, and I can buy the cute school supplies and I know she will get them rather than them being throwing in a pile and distributed to another child. This year I'm looking forward to the back to school thing rather than dreading it.

I love the behind the scenes. My cleaning is never like the calm, peaceful flow with the pretty music. It's more like the bloopers, but with teens and stopping to drive them so many places lol. Great video.

Here in Buffalo New York, we start after Labor Day. So glad because I hate when they go back, although I have a 22 year old who is done, even with college! She’s a nurse at Roswell Park now. I do have my son who is a sophomore now, but I still don’t like when he goes back. ❤

I just made another batch of breakfast burritos for my husband. This time I used turkey sausage, eggs, shredded cheddar, diced onion and diced red pepper. I had enough left over to make three burrito bowls for myself.

I needed this video today! We homeschool and just started back Monday.. so my house is basically destroyed by the end of every day. We’re constantly cleaning around here 😅 hope your kids have a great year!

I put my warmer tray in the freezer one time and it cracked. So I don’t like that method either! I love the cotton ball method. I just carry around a red solo cup and drop the cotton balls in when they soak up instead of risking dropping wax on the floor on the way to the trash can.

I use the cotton balls too, or even a paper towel, easy peasy. I finally deep cleaned my wax warmer plates, only took me a year to get to them. lol anyhow great video, hope your kids have a great first day back at school! ❤

So we actually just have builder’s grade paint in agreeable gray, it looks like it’s probably a flat paint. Anyways I use the zep wall foam cleaner frequently and it hasn’t caused any problems with my paint. It cleans off any smudges so well☺️ I love your house so much! It’s beautiful!

I do the exact same thing with the cotton balls. I keep paper bowls in my basket also to just drop them in and then throw it away. I don't like the freezer method either, not convenient at all.

Hi, Jesse! Wouldn't it be nice to request plugs to be put in the pantry and closets for cleaning items and it wouldn't have to stay out in a room? Also, on your vent, use a feather duster or blind cleaner when the unit is on and it will just suck the dust right up!

My kids go back the 28th...normally the day after Labor day but they changed it this year but they are still getting out mid june instead of earlier so thats annoying. Good to know about the Zep wall cleaner! Its actually on my amazon list...I have mostly satin paint so I will have to look into that but i really hope it works on that because I was pretty excited about it. Also that candle warmer Ive had on my list since you recommended it and when I looked yesterday it was on sale for 28 vs 45😀. Also since ive learned the cotton ball hack i would NOT go back to freezing...for me anyway, it never just popped out, id still have to dig it out and then scrub it. So, cotton balls for the win, never will go back!! OH! And im super excited(its the little things lol) to try putting the candle or smell good things by one of my return vents....what a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for always sharing items and hacks and things that have worked for you. I love getting new ideas to try!
