Love the long format video! A lot of shoes has been appearing on almost all categories. At this point its just preference because they are all really good. Some shoes just have an edge on some categories. Also, WoW 11? 😳

Unfortunately Fresh Foam BB v2 doesn’t come in 2E. But the other new balance shoes do.

Thank you for the thought, time, and effort you put into this list, Doc Zach! I just got diagnosed with Jumpers Knee, and I feel like I aggrivate my knee more on takeoff than on landing. I'm curious if I should still go for the BBV2 for the cushioning or if there is a better option on this list for folks like me.

Hey Doc, as always love the channel. Have a bone spur on the knuckle of my big toes (on top of both feet) from playing in cleats for 30 years. Tough to find tennis shoes that don't rub. I'm intrigued by the mesh top of the UA Flow Futr. Would they work for tennis? I don't slide.

whoa, thank you for the video. I picked up the two wxy v4 not so long ago (3 months?) the first time I used that, my pinky toe is hurting so much. The friction to the side of the shoe is just too much for my wide feet. however I break it in, and now it is fine (I also change socks). although it's not the most comfy to walk on for too long, especially around the arch area, I am still enjoying it. I also solely playing outdoor in Tokyo, and it is holding on pretty well.

This video for tennis shoes comes out tomorrow - yeah there’s nothing new coming out that is really viable for the channel except for the eclipsions which will be up soon- right now trying to be a tennis-exclusive channel or mostly tennis channel would mean one video every month if I’m lucky. I’m starting a new series which will Incorporate more tennis models but at some point more people need to start watching the tennis content for me to start spending a lot of money on lesser known brands and dedicating a lot of time to them. Plus I just spent all that time on the oscillate build video and the video tanked which kinda took the wind out of my sails a bit. Like I’ve told others- start getting in touch with shoe companies and requesting more updates to their tennis line - some have been out for 3 years now with no updates.

No idea what you would call it medically, but I often have issues finding shoes that fit the top of my foot. Not sure if the the slope of my foot is a little steeper, or if there are bone spurs making that area more pronounced. Anyway flatter profile shoes or those with restrictive linings give me major sizing issues. I'm an outdoor player, so I go through shoes quickly and I definitely watch your videos for any shoe I'm considering purchasing. Big fan of your content! Hope that maybe you can cover issues like that in the future or add it to your breakdowns going further.

Hey Doc, looking for a shoe that has some give around the front of the toe box. I have a slight bunion on my right foot and when i stop quickly the toe slams up. My toenail is falling off now for the second time in the past two years. Love the Sabrina 1’s but even those gave me problems. I think the Harden vol 4 toe box was the last shoe I had that didn’t give me problems. Though I didn’t like the traction. Any recommendations?

It’s hard to find any wide new balance shoes. Both fresh foam and v4 seem to be out. WXY V4 2e is probably my favorite shoe I’ve ever worn but I’m a little worried to rebuy non wide

Interesting. LBJ21 n GT jump 2 fits too narrow for me (listed as true width by you), but AJ38 fits much better and roomier for me (narrow feet accordi g to you).

Fresh foam BB V2 busted my forth toe on my left foot 😤 it’s a tab on the inside of the shoes rubbing against my sock and toes. I’m taking those back today

Trae 3 or Dame 8 Extply? Both are decently priced and seem to fit wide footers like myself. I can't try these at stores as the stores near me are Nike/Jordan dominated. I prioritize cushioning over anything else. Please let me know!

@footdoctorzack, wondering if you can advise on my type of need. So my weakness and most injury prone area is my knees and some shoes do so much damage even when just walking because they don't allow my foot to move naturally, I've realized that my feet are on the flat side and shoes with more arch support are so uncomfortable. I've tried a bunch of shoes and most feel bad, my favorite was the new wxy v3 so I tried the v4 and I didn't like them at all. Any tips?

Try the Fresh Foam BB v2 or Kawhi 4. I got 2E for Kawhi 4 and it’s solid. I couldn’t stand Two Wxy v4, those shoes did not fit me well at all and the cushion was weird. FF BB v2 has a brilliant plush cushion and Kawhi 4 has a nice responsive cushion and fits well (at least it did for me in the 2E version).

well done again Zach! I have a few disagreements: 1. LeBron 21's have poor breathability (tongue too dense) and rest of shoe lacks proper venting... but still my fav shoe for 2023-4... 2. AG4 tongue paper thin and unwearable for me, even w/ 2 socks:( I'm looking forward to the new Jordan 39 release.

This is crazy, the only 2 pars that I can play comfortobally in AJ38 and Nike GT Hustle are recomdended for narrow footers but on the other hand the Dames 8/CFT NB`s 2W/BB2 even 2E and tthat are killing my pinkies are cosidered in the wide feet cat, heck even the Zions feel wider especially at the toes 😅 i guess working-out in bearfeet shoes is affecting my toes but still ...

What's happening Dr. Zach, I'm a former hs basketball player that deals with a back injury on a daily basis. I usually try to find the most comfortable affordable basketball shoe that I can't find. My problem is the fact that I always have to settle for my shoes due to the fact that most stores don't carry my size. I'm 6'6 180 and the store never has any basketball shoes in my size. It's hard to go on line because of the prices. I need advice Doc! Can you help me?

I don’t see why any of the recommendations he gives here wouldn’t work for volleyball. You need all the same things in a basketball shoe for volleyball as you do for basketball.
