just a side note but most department chains have more or less the same shops across all their different outlets, so you most likely don't have to go to the Lotte department store in Seoul to get what Mike got! also, i'm not sure if it's around but the very first time I had strawberry and whipped cream was in that exact conveyor belt sushi chain in the department store, changed my life forever. yeah, strawberry and whipped cream on the conveyor belt in a sushi shop was weird, but it was so amazing

MINI HISTORY LESSON Y'ALL! Have you not been to Little Saigon in Westminster, California?! THE OG LITTLE SAIGON where citizens of Vietnam were welcome after the US army destroyed Vietnam during the war. The president at the time felt so bad he made space in the city for Vietnamese people to live and share a safe community. Westminster is home to hundreds of Vietnamese restaurants and one pho restaurant in the area even has a James Beard award. How do I know so much? I'm down the street and have lived here my whole life :) Mike please visit us in Westminster soon!

Thanks for confirming that korean food is sweet a lot of times. We have been discussing it and the use of sweeteners in spicy dishes to balance the flavors. (Once I ate an indian dish without spices and it was sooo sweet! One might think that you would remove the sweetners when the spice is removed but somehow they didnt do that. Maybe its the same in your udon-dish?)

That bowl of pho looked delicious! Now I’m craving a bowl. Everything always looks so good! I love noodle dishes…my absolute favourite. 👍😋😊 The dumplings look delicious! Love ice cream. 🍨🍦 That fried rice dish looks incredible! 😋 I don’t eat raw fish…but, you make that look good too. Dumpling heaven…👍😋👏 Look at all of those desserts…😳😋👏 How can you only pick a couple of them?? Thanks for sharing that. 👍🇨🇦😊

Thank you for sharing! Love the location of this place, it's so near to the MRT and after a hearty meal could always take the train or just shop in the underground shopping.

Im getting flashbacks at 12.14. I have made my own tradition when going to Korea and that is to have those noodles for lunch on my first full day in Korea😅 They are really good and you defintley get full after eating them (well maybe not if you're Mike but other wise😏
