So happy with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' placement, they were such a great American band. Surprised you didn't enjoy their later work (Into The Great Wide Open, Wildflowers, Full Moon Fever). Some of them are credited under Tom's name only but most Heartbreakers were involved in the creation process.

David Bowie has had a lot of success, true, but unlike other soloists, he is valued for his contributions, his importance, what he has influenced, innovated, for his creativity, for all the concepts he applied, not for his success. The majority of soloists they only rely on their success, Bowie is not the case, Bowie is valued as an artist, it seems a shame that you limit yourself to talking only about his success when in fact, it is even doubly meritorious that he managed to stay relevant for so long with all the changes in style he made, completely leaving the genres when he was at his peak for something totally different, even when he experimented with ambient and electronics, Bowie's contributions transcend success, for Bowie his sales don't matter, what It's him that counts, it bothers me that you don't value him for what he really means, he transcends everything through his art.

Sabbath is easily God tier. Bill Ward, Geezer Butler, and Iommi...that's a hell of a 3 piece. Hendrix is another very talented band where the bassist/drummer get overshadowed by Jimmy and forgotten. Floyd should be way higher. And Grateful Dead is a great band...you just have to have experienced psychedelics enough to appreciate them. They are a band for vibing out to live..but they have some good shorter songs that were hits, too. Beatles and Zep are overrated. Songs like Kashmir and Stairway (other than the solo) are so long and boring..compared to something like War Pigs, I'll take War Pigs any day. Skynyrd should also be way higher. Great songwriting, and the perfect voice for a Southern rock band. On their way to being the biggest band in the world before Ronnie Vanzant died.

Queen is a singles band. They don’t have one decent album. And although I pretty much enjoy all of their hits I think they are hugely overrated.
