If I met a drywall contractor that organized and CLEAN I would hire him instantly. The last four contractors we hired for household repairs and renovations were mostly OK, but nowhere near this level of efficiency. Well done Sir. You should always be a first-call contractor.

Well done and clever. I made one similiar 10 years ago. I dismantled a bucket organizer and used it for the side storage. I only say that because it saved me a few pounds. I also designed mine to be flush on top so a plank or something could be set on it for a short step. Love seeing people do what you did. No matter where you buy a production storage box it will never meet your needs like the one you designed. Good work.

Awsome. When you are organized. You perform your work so much better. I think the cordless tools on side is best used as a pit stop durring a job... But then put in a contractor bag for job to job. Well done.

Great idea and execution, I’m not sure what clientele you work for, or perhaps General contractors, but seeing any subcontractor on my jobs, I would likely hire again since your jobs are likely matching the skills and neatness/organization of the caddy you made. Yes, perhaps 1/2” high quality lightweight plywood would have made it lighter. One thing I would likely be annoyed about is those plastic containers, are those cross bars not hindering getting your snips or other tools out without snagging stuff? Otherwise super video.

Yes nice tool caddy if it carries all you need and easy access to individual tools. Bags and buckets are out. Good job. I think my next box will be a Gemini version and better crafted as it is a tad bulky and a little heavy at the moment.

EXCELLENT. Fantastic work, and choice of tools. KRAFT is king :). I started mudding last year, and I'm in dire need of some organization like this. What knife & trowel sizes do you think I'd benefit most from? My current line-up is: Kraft & Marshal-town Hawk's Hyde 2" Knife (soon to replace w/ Kraft) Kraft 4" Knife Kraft 6" Knife Kraft 13" x 5" Trowel I'm finding 2-inch to be a little difficult to utilize properly and 3" might be better for tight spots. Also think a larger 8-10" knife and XL trowel would be great for skim coating. Brands/sizes would be much appreciated! I've had to install 500 sq ft of fresh drywall, and currently skim coating basically every room (walls & ceilings) in our 1950's house. It's riddled with horrible patchwork, cracks and holes over the years.
@spbygga8123
@spbygga8123 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Bryan, I like the kraft knives and still use them. I have heard good things about the level 5 knives also. A lot has changed since I made the video. I am hand finishing much less and have switched to auto tools for most things. If you have lots of skimming to do, a big nap roller and a skimming blade might be the way to go. Depending on how bad the walls are, wide rolls about (900mm wide from memory) of fibafuse might be helpful. If the walls are very cracked and uneven it really helps to even them out and add some reinforcement. Not cheap, so maybe wouldn't be an option for every wall. Hope that helps
