we never MIX it with anything. either lick/eat the powder as it is. or take it in your mouth and wash it down with a shot of vodka (or other equivalent liquor). so yeah. ollie was on the right track there! :D

There are three correct ways to take Ahoj Brause: 1. Childs dip their fingers in it 2. Teens snore it 3. Adults mix it with vodka or tilt a whole bag in their mouth and a shot vodka right after But no matter what the description says... we NEVER mix it with water. That's rebellion german style. Wtf is going on with the like button... thank you all 😅

In my humble, german opinion: Yogurette is super delicious, nobody eats Sauerkraut cold and straight from the can and Center Shocks are the candy from hell!

Same. Love Yogurette. Pure sauerkraut on its own, never heard of that as a german. Its mostly eaten with potatos and pork. My mother makes her own sauerkraut with apples/apple juice/apple sauce with smoked porkchop and mashed potatos. Its a dish out of heaven. The saurkraut not overpowering that way, if you add some sweetness to it (through something like apples).

Ollie gets an A for effort for his cute german pronunciation. He sounded like a lot of my clients. 😂 I loved how he kept mixing casual speech and honorifics 😂 It was like going from 합쇼체 to 반말 from one sentence to another. 😂 Gosh, I just love foreigners trying to speak german. It warms my heart. More people should do it. ❤️😂 (Yes, I have a weak spot for any kind of accent, so that is why I love this so much.)

I LOVE Knoppers! My brother's ex wife is German, and she would always bring German snacks with her when she would visit us. She brought Knoppers, Toffifee, and assorted Haribo gummies that were only in Germany. Knoppers was obviously my favorite, and I was floored when I saw them being sold at Aldi's grocery stores in Maryland. You best believe I stock up on them.

Ich mein ollie hat es versucht und es war nicht soooo schlecht also gut gemacht ollie🤗ich hab sogar alles verstanden ohne auf die Übersetzung zu schauen 👌🏼 I mean he tried it and it wasn't that bad so good job ollie🤗i was able to understand all he said without even looking at the translation so👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

kmultifan pop-pop I was actually surprised at how much it all made sense, especially considering how long the message was. And also his pronunciation was pretty ok - I mean he was obviously reading some of the letter combinations solely from an English point of view, but otherwise his accent was pretty good. It must’ve taken a lot of time and effort, so it is honestly just very respectable and super sweet that he did that💖

Had this dude in my grade that would just take the package and open 8-10 before stuffing as many as possible at the same time in his mouth Was barely able to chew because the whole mouth was full but it always ended up working somehow Not sure how he's still alive ... but eh 😅😂

I once ate 20 within 10 minutes and it didn't feel particularly bad as I was eating it, but my mouth burned for about three days afterwards, even when I'd just drink some water

Ich schab zuerst die Schokolade mit den Zähnen ab, leck dann die Füllung raus und kau am Ende das Karamell. Hört sich anrüchig an wenn man das so erzählt.

Ich find das witzig! Wir müssten die eigentlich in ihrem Irrglauben bestätigen und in ein, zwei Jahren dann können wir uns über Touristen die freudlos kaltes Sauerkraut aus der Dose in der Öffentlichkeit essen beömmeln

Ähm, das wäre nur back to the roots, meine Mutter erzählt noch heute, wie sie als Kind beim Kaufmann immer ein bisschen Sauerkraut aus dem großen Fass zum naschen bekommen hat und sie sagt, sie hat es geliebt, allerdings ist das heutige wohl intensiver gesäuert und matschiger, als das hausgemachte früher.

@@lupindraws we also call them lovingly "Blombenzieher" ~ "tooth filling puller", as especially when they are a bit older they can get tremendously sticky. This Christmas they got both my father and my grandfather, both still waiting for their full replacements and cursing profoundly at the bills

Also ich Kratz mit den Zähnen erst die Schokolade runter, dann beiße ich es leicht an um die Haselnuss rauszumachen. Dann esse ich das Karamell mit Füllung und am Schluss die Haselnuss. Ist das besser? 😂
