Ultimate Greek-Style Mini Pizzas | Easy & Delicious Homemade Pizza Recipe
Welcome to our kitchen! Today, we're showing you how to make the ultimate Greek-style mini pizzas. These pizzas are bursting with Mediterranean flavors, featuring black and green olives, fresh tomatoes, green bell peppers, and a mix of feta and pizza cheese. Perfect for family dinners, parties, or any pizza night, these small pizzas are sure to be a hit.
Ingredients:
Dough:
500g all-purpose flour (approximately 4 cups)
Half a liter of lukewarm water
14 grams of yeast (about 2 packets of active dry yeast)
1 tablespoon of sugar
One third of a pint of oil (approximately 160 ml)
1 teaspoon of salt
Toppings:
Black olives (about 100g, sliced)
Green olives (about 100g, sliced)
2 tomatoes (sliced)
3 green bell peppers (sliced, divided into two groups)
Feta cheese (about 200g, crumbled)
500 grams of pizza cheese (shredded)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
Activate Yeast: In a bowl, mix the lukewarm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
Make Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead: Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Rise: Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
2. Prepare the Toppings:
Slice: Slice the black olives, green olives, tomatoes, and green bell peppers.
3. Assemble the Pizzas:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Divide Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
Shape Pizzas: Roll out each piece into a small pizza shape (about 15 cm or 6 inches in diameter). Place 4 pizzas on each oven tray.
Add Toppings: Distribute the toppings evenly among the pizzas. Start with a layer of tomato slices, then add the green bell pepper slices, black olives, and green olives. Sprinkle the feta cheese on top. Finally, generously cover each pizza with shredded pizza cheese.
4. Bake:
Bake Pizzas: Place the trays in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
5. Serve:
Cool and Serve: Let the pizzas cool slightly before serving.
