I just got into evade to do some bhop As an experienced player on actual bhop, I will say this is really fast to learn if you know cs mechanics to bunnyhopping as keyboard strokes really come in handy and also strafing. If you ever do want smooth strafes (movement) I suggest for people with large mouseroom to practice strafing with their arm as that is what professional bhoppers do. This tactic does take a bit to learn if you use wrist but arm strafing can improve accuracy and reflex time.

So, I rejoined evade after a year. I thought B-hopping was just jumping simply while running. BUT NO. I watched and realised I have to poke left/right while B-hopping. Thank you SO MUCH for teaching me how to B-hop.

I played half life a few days ago and I kinda knew how to bhop then but I was binded my jump to scrollwheeldown which gives me a advantage on timing, I hope they add the ability to change keybinds

note: while going to right or left dont tap d or a u need to hold them i made this mistake on learning bunny hop a few months ago also u need to learn strafing to bhop its not the part when ur turning its the part when u are going straight

the whole time i was playing this game from start to now i didn't realize what bhop even meant i was doing it A LOT and i learned with no guide i did learn trimping with a video tho but thanks for telling me tho +1 sub

I think the info here is wrong. see i had a friend run with me, and when he just "hops" without the strafe, he's actually faster than when i "hop with the left right pattern". I noticed that when we're both at max speed and only holding W, we're the same speed. when i start pressing jump as well - without A or D, i instantly gain and surpass him. so i think the only time you want to press A or D when hopping, is when you want to make a sharp turn. otherwise, simple hopping and wall strafing are far simpler and better.

Man it's so hard on PC if I press D I go sideways(with the mouse) same thing for A I kept trying to get the right sensitivity but I just gave up. I'm used to bhopping on mobile

Also to anybody rewatching this video if you skills in Evade seem like their getting worse; it could be because if your like playing Nico's Nexbots a similar game to Evade the mechanics vary. So your muscle memory changes to NN's mechanics. I just noticed why I suck at Evade at the moment.

for me it doesnt jump when i hold w and d/a idk why tho edit: so i found out if i hold W and A at the same time and i press space the jump wont register. this doesnt happen with the D key

@@marouanimegri8835 No its not. You cannot hold down W cuz source games limit ur speed once u press W, its the whole reason why we air strafe. Also you can bind jump to mwheelup or down; the game also lets you get much more speed(unless its csgo official)
