@@NotMalcolm Yessirrrr it’s called the nraas traveler mod. When you travel to a WA world, you click on the base camp and click the option that says “treat as vacation” and make it false. It makes the game treat it as a regular home world. You can edit it, move sims there, and even choose a premade family to play as. If you want to remain a tourist, there’s also an option that freezes your visit, meaning you can stay there indefinitely. WA is definitely one of my favorites as well along with seasons and late night

glad it was helpful bro 😊 tbh i don’t have tons of experience using nraas traveler but i think it works pretty much the same when traveling to other towns. So if u wanna travel to the island paradise world or sunset valley or w/e you can do that with the mod (iirc they should all show up as options when u book a vacation), but u might have to add a base camp to those worlds im not sure how that works but i definitely wanna explore that mod more in the future!

@@NotMalcolm aha...i see... with the Traveler mod from nraas... I know I've tried once a long time ago (2 years ago or so I guess) and couldn't buy a second or third or more homes after the first one that's replacing the need for a base camp as the mod is designed to do...so I didn't used anymore at that time and forgot about it... but now after you mentioned it and reminded me about it I've tried again and it's pretty cool... and I found the problem with buying more than the first home in that town can be solved by a workaround in Edit Town and change property type to "ownable" but after changing first to any community type, even no visitors allowed... it's fun indeed...

thats a really good question tbh i think it stays with the active family that purchased it but i don't really know for sure :/ i'm pretty sure if you move sims outside of the active family that purchased the vacation home, then those sims who moved won't be able to use it.

sims 3 is so awesome, you can create a lot where there is not one (as long as it will fit).
