These solutions include Google Analytics, Google Shopping, the Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads. Oftentimes people get confused about what each of these tools is meant, which ones work together and how they all integrate within Shopify.
First, we talk about Google Shopping, which is basically a search engine for products. Getting free search traffic can add a significant revenue boost to your store and will also help to increase profits when leveraged. To get your products listed you will need to create a Google merchant center account first. After that, you can actually synchronize your product feed by using the google sales channel.
In the next chapter, we dive deeper into Google Analytics. After covering how to integrate Google Analytics with Shopify, I'll give you an overview of the Data going to be collected. Once you get a bit more advanced I'd also recommend learning about GA-Goals and GA-Events. In this article both are described very well:

Here it is important to understand that GA is a tracking software to collect data on your website, while the Google Tag Manager is actually a management system to organize all your tracking snippets. Therefore the initial question doesn't even make too much sense at all.
Last but not least we take a brief look at Google Ads and the different possible conversion tracking solutions. To run Google Ads effectively, conversion tracking is a must.
