With the effort that Cryptic puts into the mods, I would not recommend going so hard. Just choose the class/race, play the game with monthly VIP if you can, have fun. Great vid as always Aragon :)

I highly recommend doing both, using the tool but definitely testing in game. As we see far too often where bonuses either don't work or are copy pastes of entirely different bonus, we do need to be somewhat vigilante

Just a note: Forte (Power & Accuracy) only works on Dreadnought Fighter (DPS) and Ranger. I might be wrong, but besides the Power, the other offensive rating bonus provided from Forte is different for other DPS paragons.

accuracy is the worst, so it just makes it better with the other stats

you have to test that, for me on Rogue, mythallar deals about 5% of my damage. It would go in overall damage source

Thank you, now if you or some one else could explain or tell me which one is better, %damage bonus (for instance +12% damage) or magnitude damage (for instance encounter power hits for 85 magnitude damage) when confronted with the choice between them, thank you in advance.

on what class is this? If you could deal that 85 mag every second, then it could be very good, otherwise probably not

@@Aragon- thank you for your answer, the warlock hellbringer class, the second feat, which i must say is confusing when given the choice between the two, %damage or magnitude damage for the warlock's curse, i've choosen magnitude and using curse byte, which is giving me good results.

That feat I explained in my warlock powers explaination video. For AoE damage on Mob groups with curse bite, it is good. But for single target, the 12% damage is a lot better

Hey, when u gain up IL, with items that gives u combined ratings? It counts to all of stats i guess, thoes are reduced too ? Lets say im 60k IL i go to random dung, 36k IL scale, do am o max out on my stats up to 36k and all i need left is just this 40% i can get from % gain boost of my equipment ? Or this is not scaling down ? When u're max out on 36 IL with all on 90% and u have 90 IL scaled down but with 70% of stats lets day every stats is same, this 36IL will do more dmg ? Its not so easy to understand this scaled content

I think the introduction of a rather big ilvl gap is soon to happen. Mind you that I wrote ilvl and not combined ilvl!

Struggling to chose between marilith or mythallar on my rogue, it bounce between 75k to 73k IL. I think in scale content marilith perform better o.o .

marilith is the best for team support and solo content, Mythallar costs nothing and is best if someone else is using marilith

pretty terrible, can't fit any of the ratings at endgame, unless you use one for defense stats.

What's the formula for Total by the way? I see your Crit Strike is cap at Ratings but the Total % is just 69%

50% from ratings, the other 40% you need to get from other sources to get to 90%

Didn't you forget to add brain %? eg - u have 90% stats X 30% brain = low dps, then u take 80% stats X 80% brain = high dps. 🤯

I can say augment companion is a useless choice to make even minsc,batiri, and NW knight equipped it provides stats but not damage I always got kick from mtos and MDWP dungeon because low damage I dealt I can use active companion but the best ones at damn expensive and really hard to balance stats on active companion every module meta changes 😅

Buy incubus for aoe(like 500-600k at purple) and that lizard archer (6k ad at blue) ans you'll be fine

I know you already said that when you are scaled your stats become blue....I reached 24k yesterday IL and the legacy campaigns are still 21k....so Aragon aren't the mobs on them gonna be ridiculously easy?? I went to dread ring and I was still 24k IL and not scaled down to 21k or anything like that....imagine when I reach higher IL and campaign still 21k IL

@@Aragon- but wouldn't they become too easy the higher your IL?? I mean its going to take time to finish legacy campaigns and I thought scaling was added so you don't get too overpowered for older campaigns

@@eyn85 you will have higher Item Level, but your damage will be scaled to match that of the campaign, for instance on one of my toons i was 41k IL and the damage was 4k (i dont remember exactly how much right now) but when i went in a 22k IL campaign my damage was reduced to less than 4k, thats where IL helps a bit, which is what Aragaon is saying, again this is in my experience.

Thank you for the clarification.... honestly after level 20 stuff becomes quite confusing.....so in the end there is scaling in the older campaigns....I thought so because you can reach item level like 60 or 70k IL(just looking at menzo and sharandar campaign IL) and then I thought your character would destroy everything in the legacy areas that is 21k....

Nah one of the better one... Making it simpler than that would be extremely borring. Nothing is complicated you get 50% from rattings rest is from flat % upgrade such as companions slots and forte or items.

It's designed so that you'll have to update anything expensive that gives ratings (enchantments & insignias) every time the meta changes 😆

insignia aint expansive and I personally reach my cap with the same set of insignia all the time, all you have to do is tweek enchants and move companions gear and you should be sorted. They have to make it so the better thing make you changes stuff arround so the economy just doesnt get flooded with ad. @@matthewrutters6842

This is all good info but the reality is different. In order to deal godly damage, sadly you need to know what is bugged and when to use it. Those are mostly secrets in player base and no new player will learn them fast enough to be effective. Just sad.

Funny how you abandoned marilith which you 6-8 weeks ago couldn't praise enough ))...Word of advice to anyone watching any of these content creators, stay critical, have a mind of your own. Since they sometimes are more than happy to create videos giving you crappy advice, leading you down a shitty, wrongful & potential expensive path...Glad i went shroomwood over marilith...

Marilyth def is the best but support usually run in. In my group the ranger run it while the bard use vistani. If atleast you called him out on something wrong lol edit: Maralyth got the GS 5% for everyone so 15% in a 3dps group of dmg increase not a 7,5% of a stat. + it also have decent stats such as dex x9 = 4.5 crit sev
