I love it I think you addressed some key points for a movie accurate buzz. The fully retractable helmet The laser pointer lazer. Id say you dont need the motor to work for movie accuracy. Lastly Im pretty sure the wings can retract back in when you press the red round button.

This is fantastic. I would love to make an even more accurate one than this. I also always wanted to make my own small soldiers completely accurate to the ones in the movie in their own box minus all the electronics. Small soldiers as in the movie small soldiers

The Wings must be longer, Non-Magnetic Hands, white near the purple helmet buttons, pressable, voice buttons wider, attachable Utility Belt, and Jetpack Exhaust!

This is amazing. For a prototype, this is an outstanding job. It really feels like Buzz leapt out of the movie and into the real world. The magnetic wrist are kinda weird, especially since they pop off, but it does help with screen accuracy. So far, I’m impressed. 🥰👍🏽

Wow, this is incredible, only thing I’d adjust is the size of the balljoints in the hands, and make the arms swivel at the bicep, other than that, it’s perfect

It is interesting to see that the colors (especially green and purple) are very close to the original Buzz from 1995 .. Finally this Buzz was more accurate than we think ^^ (BTW, have you seen the video of Duane made it on his restoration and repainting of the original Buzz ?)

There is a new Buzz Lightyear Head that looks almost looks like toy mode, the eyes are barley showing eyelids. Im sure those could be painted white and his eyebrows are the same as signature, its on Amazon as Toy Story 4 Disney Pixar Buzz Lightyear Deluxe Space Ranger Action Figure., Multi (64451)

Which color palette looks best: The one seen in the Toy Story Treat where Buzz becomes obsolete, the Holiday Hero Buzz, or the Stars & Stripes Buzz? I know none are movie accurate, but for all of them, that is intentional. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look them up.

It's quite unfortunate that the helmet can't really do the "woosh thing" yet, that aside it's pretty good. Also if remember correctly, the green parts would usually be able to glow in the dark in the movie.

Definitely knocked it out of the park for this one, Thinkway Toys should definitely see this as the prototype for the standard!

If I remember correctly when you push down on the laser button it's supposed to stay going forever until you let go of it. Whereas with what we got you can only tap it and it only goes for a set amount of seconds, you should be able to hold it down with it going as long as you want until you let go.

You should do a mod where you peel off the wrist communicator sticker and write andy's phone number.Since ur going for Toy story 3 buzz

A few years ago when I was around 5, I recieved a remote control buzz, I tried to move his arms in a ball joint but I broke and I was dissapointed.

Wouldn’t it be cool to take the Disney store buzz lightyear and put the voice chip inside a thinkway collection buzz lightyear, get a full on toy mode buzz, getting the wings done to light up tho would be hell

Overall this looks like a pretty dope custom job. Never would've though of magnetizing the wrist joints to add more of a posable look to them. I'd say If it were up to me I'd prefer to have the actually wrist joint where it connects to the arm be ball jointed and them have the hand on a hinge. May not look as film accurate but It'd maybe have a better range of poses. I'd also maybe add an extra track of movement in the shoulders so that buzz can properly set his arms to the sides just for extra opposability. Now the real film accurate mod would be for the jetpack, specifically for the movie accurate wingspan + somehow jury-rigging a form of Karate Chop Action in. Now Idk how that'd work but I'd suspect for the wingspan you'd need the plastic of the wings to be a lot thinner and the outermost part of the wings that pops out of the main body of the wings (i.e the parts w/ the wing tips and the blinking lights) to be about the same length as the innermost body of the wing and also made of a thinner plastic. Again Idk how that'd fare over time but I'd bet since it's thinner it'd also be lighter and keep a more staightened, less droopy look that even the signature collection has.

You should’ve send the Disney store Limited addition buzz light-year to him and then he’ll modified it better because it has chopping action like the movie

Ohh boy I’m so excited!

I'm so astounded on how he got the sound and electronics to still work. I literally did a step by step removal of the helmet along with your video and his electronics are all messed up. I put the helmet back on and he STILL doesn't work. Replaced the batteries and everything. His try me mode will just fire off his laser on a constant loop and for the regular mode nothing will happen when I press the buttons... help.

Awesome work and love the dedication and passion for these loveable and extraordinary toys. I just wish Thinkway would pay attention to detail more and make a more movie accurate toys. Bugs me really much that when they are looking to make a movie replica toy , then why not make woody like he is in the movie with a closed mouth , seperate fingers , smaller ring on his string and slower retractable string etc etc , same with buzz and other toy story toys. Instead of making us make so many changes and mod them. Anyways , love for this channel and love for Toy story ❤️

Now this is really to late, but I think the head scalp on the toy story 3 interactive buddies buzz is movie accurate to the toy story 3 buzz. Because the eyes are way open.
