Here we tour the ruins and learn all about the history of Panama City before traveling over to Casco Viejo/Casco Antiguo, Panama. Casco Viejo is where the city moved to in 1674 and for some time was the entire city - all its residents lived here before urban expansion began sparked by the building of the Panama Canal. Casco Viejo is now considered the hippest place in Panama City! We also take a stroll down the Cinta Costera checking out some more Panama City Neighborhoods before learning about Panama City’s metro! Panama City has really shocked us in terms of its history, culture, architecture and people.
