We were lucky and got these tickets during the San Francisco re-launch sale. The flight was around $1,000 return cheaper than flying through LA. If you are flying onwards (Chicago, New York, Orlando) with Qantas then always check different route options to save money.

I only flew economy on Qantas. However, I flew Business on Virgin Australia once

Thanks for the review. Have you flown Business Class on the A380? Just curious as to how the onboard service compares with the 787. I have heard that it can be a bit hit-and-miss due to the sheer size of the cabin.

Unfortunately not yet. This is actually our first time flying Qantas to the USA and our first flight review video. We have previously flown Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia (when they were flying there). We have flown business with Qatar on an A380 though! We certainly had an A+ experience on this flight. Hope this review helps!
