Love Whitney's reaction when she starts the Ducati. Those clip-on bars are definitely not for scrambling and she's a trooper for doing it. I definitely agree the BMW looks the most at home style wise if it just had more appropriate tires. All those bikes are cool though.

Spites joke about the cylinder heads on the BMW is actually spot on. I’ve dropped my R1250GS off-road plenty of times, and it just kind of sets over on the super wide crash bars like a kick stand. Sometimes when I get stuck in the sand, I just get off, tip the bike over, and spin it around on one of the cylinder heads, then head off in the other direction.

Yam & Squad: you're crushing it. This was super dope. All it was missing from hitting CTXP/F9 territory was some cinematic shots (which are obviously awkward and neither time nor cost efficient to film, so I can't hold it against y'all). I don't own a scrambler, but I love seeing them in their natural habitat. 9/10 forsure one of my favorite recent videos, fantastic job.

These bikes remind me of a 1974 Honda XL 350 I had right out of high school (in 1974). It wasn't very good in the dirt and it wasn't very good in the street. Since then, I've always looked for bikes for a certain purpose. My last dirt bike (sold in 2019, I'm 65 yo) was a 2008 KTM 300 XCW, one of the best single track weapons, ever. Now that I'm back on the street, a few weeks ago I bought a 2020 KTM 1290 SDR. I'm in Colorado, so I've only had a chance to ride it once for about 60 miles. Wow, very impressive, and a proper street bike. That said, one of the things I still love about motorcycles is the variety of machines and the variety of riders. To each, their own.

Sold my Ducati Scrambler FT when I could not take its ergo's. That one spot seat, harsh suspension and budget brakes had me enjoy it for a while and then move to my Urban GS. It's thin seat and harsh suspension along with its feeling of heft had me grow tired of its look and after a couple years it was sold. As a multi bike owner I missed having a standard bike in the garage and not something dedicated to the pointy end of a demographic spear. I ended up on a Triumph Street Scrambler. I guess I hit the hipster trifecta. I will say that I saved the best for last. It has comfort for more than 1 hour. It looks right sized at the 900cc shape and size and not an over inflated cartoon caricature. The Triumph size is perfect for someone under 6 foot tall. (The BMW is for the taller folk) The Street Scrambler skids and wheelies predictability. That heavy flywheel delivers a bike that loves to slide the rear under power on bad traction surfaces so predictably. This translates to FUN! I find myself having more fun on this bike and I love the look of it. Is it new bike syndrome? Time will tell but I think it has won me over on this comparo.
