I think adding the furnaces in the front kinda gives away that it’s a double height base, especially if you’re able to build this in a dip. I’d opt to just put a triangle floor there and a campfire in the corner instead to keep it as incognito as possible

to increase stealth you can build in a rock formation, add honeycomb and make it look like you couldn't expand further due to the terrain for extra stealth, generally, I think a scuff base attracts even less attention than even a 2x1, leave the exterior all stone, external door sheet metal, and upgrade the interior to sheet metal walls and armor doors and the raid cost go up to about 12 rockets from doors and 10 from the backside, this is how I usually go about my wipe, the hidden loot room looks like a nice thing to add and I'm going to try it out for sure

If you use the Adobe or Container skins, the half wall bottom layer has a completely different texture (diamond pattern on Adobe) which gives away the fact that you have an entire lower layer. Stick with basic stone or sheet metal skins.

Having double doors on over the gap and leaving them open will cause raiders to not bother raiding the door which will cause them to never know the pixel gap is there. If you can make your pixel gap in a less essential position than in front of the TC (and have external TCs to prevent griefing) this can be a viable way of hiding loot.

i always builld a bag in the tc room of the 2x1 so i can still spawn if im being deeped or raided, maybe a bag in this occasion with a small lookatradius is the play

It's a nice design, but I think using the space between the doors for the furnaces says there's more space below the rest of the base.

My observation on this design is that it'll work better without the building skins, the half walls are easy to spot from the foundation design difference and I feel that is work noting, especially with stone/adobe.

Is it possible to place a bag below the floor so that a raider can't break it?

I do think it is worth noting that the primary feature of this design is negated by the raider putting a door and lock back. If a person raids a 1x2 with metal doors, it is more likely they want you gone more then they want the contents of your base. Even still, if you are going to build a 1x2 this is a premium contender for how to do it. Don't even need fancy 'out with triangles' pixel gapping tech, just thoughtful placement.

Maaaaan... I truely have to say that I love Reks. This S*it is so simple but so good. I never would´ve known that building pixel gaps is so easy. Normally it goes with some freaky mechanics. Well with that being said. I freakin hate pixelgaps. It´s so annoying to play them XD It´s a certified Willjum classic video.

I think the double door is actually superior to the garage door insofar as it completely hides the pixelgap. I would potentially even leave the double door open (inwards) with a whole bunch of shit loot in the upper boxes to trick raiders into thinking that's all there is to it.

I designed a 2x1 with three triangles on one side making a D shape. It’s a bit hard to describe the 2nd/3rd floors but it’s very simple. I wanted to make a base as strong as possible but requiring the least amount of upkeep!! I put enough doors in there to make it 15 rockets to go thru doors to tc justifying armoured walls… now I only have under 300 hrs in this game as im more a spectator than player… and I know it’s basically sacrilege to upgrade with no honeycomb… I’m curious would you just be begging to be raided with a no honeycombed full HQM 2x1 even tho going through doors costs 15 plus rockets?… it just seems to me like this may be more viable than people give credit for… but then again I have been wrong before… lol I figure youll log in and find 2-3 doors gone each time but they’ll run out and give up… you come back and replace the doors, it’s all good, no? 🤷‍♂️ lol love the content, you really show these walk throughs better than 99% of people who do guide videos (not just rust but all yt!!!) keep up the great work bro!

Every avarage or above player will know that their is a chance of a pixelgap bunker on 1,5 height 2x1 like that. This trick is known for at least 4+ years... Its better implement horizontal or vertical pixel gaps in walls in small to medium size bases.

To be fair i use all your bases as starter bases but they are reslly good for it

Every1 who is saying that the base is easy and people will know the only ppl who are gonna raid that are ppl with satchels the Zerg’s are not bothered about a 2x1 I think it’s safe but u will try, and also if they raid with satchel and do find the pixel gap then it’s another 10 satchels

Sadly you can actually get to the loot in the boxes as a raider without using any extra boom. I wont say how as not every one knows how but just know that's its not like raiders need to spend boom if they know.

I always have a hammer with me during a raid I would know just by the stability of the foundations 😏

Hey there, rly appreciate your base designs. Just wanted to let you know that the translation in your advertisement is something like a false friend. "bitte holen sie mich ab" would mean to pick someone up (for example from home) and bring him to another place. The correct translation for "please pick me up" in the sense of reviving would be: "bitte hilf mir hoch". I don't wanna be nitpicky, but it's kinda funny if you make an ad for a language learning app, but your translation doesn't make much sense at all.

This is not your build Reks, Shrinks did this first and it was his concept, you should really give out the credit rather then claiming it as your own.
