This may end up being the definitive Spider-Man run for me, the classic feel of Spider-Man goofing off just like he always does even despite being older and more experienced as a person as well as the reshuffling of his lore designed to keep older fans on their toes as this new universe follows new rules. I absolutely love what's being set up here with Peter and Harry, them meeting first as adversaries and now potentially becoming allies, with drama and tension sure to develop between them over time. The designs of all of the costumes continue to be classically inspired but modern and fresh, I'm a huge fan.

After three issues this is already a contender for one of my favorite runs in all of comics. I love this series because it actually made Mary Jane likable. I love the dynamic of Ben and Jonah. And I can tell this Green Goblin and this Spider-Man are gonna potentially be quite the dynamic duo! Everything about this series has been on point. It makes the main continuity look like rubbish. And the art is just on a completely different level. This series is so good it makes the month long wait between issues kinda painful but at least it has been worth the wait every time.

Agreed when you said it shouldn't have been called Ultimate X-Men. Super great story and art but felt like a story completely separate from the x-men scene. Do love this reboot of the Ultimate run in comics, some great stuff coming from Marvel Comics at the moment

Symbiote Spider-Man 2099! Issue 2 comes out this week. If you’re a fan of the OG 90’s SM2099 run, it’s a direct continuation of that.

The whole new ultimate line has got me into characters I'm not a fan of. UBP switches up the personality and some roles of familiar faces wich i like since 616 BP can feel so robotic campy atm. And I really can't stand the over saturation of X-men in the 616, but the manga esque art direction and Asian roots feels fresh and exciting for a X-men title, actually makes me want to read the next issue.

Do not approve at all of a totally armored up Green Goblin. So bland and dumb as well as un original. The rest is cool though.

GREEN GOBLIN IS NOT A GOOD GUY 😂 I was hoping they would keep it classic. Even in the 616 Norman was good. This series is ok, tease of MJ and Peter is also frustrating since 616 Peter is a mess thanks to Dan Slott and Joe Quasada Brand New Day BS
