2 жыл бұрынToday, I'm unboxing the Ultimate Spider-man Omnibus Vol. 1 from Marvel Comics. Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley began this incredible run back in 2000 and this Amazing Omnibus collects the first almost 40 issues!
This is one of my most wished for Spiderman omnibus collections and I am ecstatic to have these comic books again!

My first omnibus EVER! This comic absolutely rocks - so glad people are able to check it out once again in this oversized format. Can’t wait for volume two. Great overview, super thorough!

Very excited to hopefully collection the whole run in Omnis if they release it all 💪👏 Thanks for stopping by! To this day this is one of my favorite Spiderman runs, in fact I’m struggling to think of one I enjoyed more… 🕷

I was never a fan of the Ultimate Universe but I remember how popular it was at the time and it did give new readers a chance to jump onboard without decades of continuity behind it. This is a handsome book. It looks amazing. I can't fault Bagley's art. Amazing. But I'll stick with the 616 Spider-Man. I really enjoyed the Spider-Men mini series.

I appreciate this opinion, I don’t meet a ton of people who don’t love Ultimate Spider-Man to the point where this is almost refreshing. 😂👏 I will say I struggled to delve into some of the other ultimate universe titles, but this one grabbed me from issue one 💪 I think for me it’s as you said a fresh read without the history attached in a way. I also think I was quite a bit younger when I first went through it so I found it more Relatable as wel Compared to what 616 Spidey was going through at the time. This run will always hold a special place in my heart but I definitely has love for ‘ol 616 too 😂🕷👏 Thanks for stopping by! Out of curiosity did you ever read The Ultimates? That run was the only other ultimate universe title that really hooked me

@@TheComicBookReport Yes. I loved the first two volumes. I actually think The Ultimates influence was so big that the writers and artists working on The Avengers and Captain America in 616 continuity were forced to improve. Also The Avengers movie owes a lot to Ultimates.

I’ve only read the first two volumes myself I heard there was a dip in quality after that so I never went further but those first two volumes are wonderful! 👏👏 Just curious if you had given those a read 👍

I’ve toyed with the idea of becoming an Amazon affiliate but have yet to take the plunge. It’s definitely a great run, and a very fun book. Volume two I think is scheduled to come out in December. Fingers crossed we get the whole run in these omnibus editions 🤞 Thanks for stopping by/watching 😎👍👍

Paper quality is thin? And binding?

Sewn binding Paper glossy but not the thickest not too bad
