This is an omnibus that can truly be described as great. One thing i didnt expect was this underlying sense of dread i had for peter. He seemed so vulnerable and too young to be doing what he was doing. I genuienly felt dread for him.

Totally agree, there’s lots of reasons why this is my favourite comic series after all. The danger is always conveyed really well and you very quickly come to care and worry for Peter. The power of great character writing!

This was my first omnibus I ever got and it’s such a great Spider-Man introduction as well. Super iconic and my favorite Spidey run ever!

Out of the Spidey runs I’ve read so far, I have to agree with you! I haven’t reached the JMS years yet, so I’m very much looking forward to that, but for now Ultimate Spider-Man takes the top spot!

Yes!! My favourite Spidey run I’ve read so far, and that PS2 game does it great justice, it definitely isn’t spoken about enough! (I’ll never forget that final race against Johnny Storm though…) P.S. Your channel was one of the inspirations for mine, so it means a lot to see you pay a visit here 🙂
