Drill Mario is so underrated, just having an active hitbox at all times makes shaking off so much bs very fun. Its ground pound using the drill means you can kill literally anything by groundpounding. Dont even get me started on how you are legit invincible in the ground. Its genuinely very broken and super fun.

I efel like the biggest weakness in SMB Wonder is the fact that it feels like its afraid of boring you, i really wish a lot of these wonder effects lasted longer than they did, because in my eyes a lot of them could've been explored more in longer bursts The star falling one for example, imagine a stage where you had to try and find stars so the wonder effect didnt go away? so you frantically sped through a level to try and find some Stuff like the palace and other ideas too, they just dont get explored in the slighest beyond just "hey that just happened, cool right?" and then end in less than a minute, let these wonder effects really show off!!! Find every single possible use out of it for a super unique level! Things like the shooting bowser head in every airship stage and the unimaginative boss fights also feels like a complete letdown to me I understand the whole idea behind "not letting something go longer than it should" but in all honesty, I really feel like the team working on the game went a bit too far on that end Dont get me wrong though, I think Wonder is a really good game, but honestly? an 8/10, and I'd personally say the modern Rayman games and Tropical Freeze are better

Yeah, the bossfights in the game are a major hindrance, was also expecting a phase 2 for the final fight but it just... ended. :/ Though otherwise I absolutely loved it!

I'll acknowledge, the surprise tomb in the desert was actually an A or even S-tier for me. Unlike a lot of Desert levels which go for an ancient Egyptian aesthetic, Sunbaked Desert feels very much like it channels modern Egypt. The fact that they only evoke a more ancient aesthetic during this particular Wonder Effect feels like it's going for a sort of time travel-historical effect reminiscent of an actual trip to an ancient Egyptian tomb, and I was absolutely overjoyed when I played through it. Also it has probably the most underrated Wonder Effect music in the entire game. Otherwise, list was more or less spot on for me, although I'd rate both Gnawsher and Bulrush effects higher.

39:04 This one confused me for all the reasons you mentioned here, but I turned off the talking flowers, so my first time around, I didn't know that I was supposed to push the wall to the right, which resulted in death by crush. I thought that was rather cheap, honestly 🤬 Anyway, the "wonder effect" is that the Shovas are strong enough to push that big ass King Koopa statue. And I'm never gonna stop calling him King Koopa

The game is awesome but the music levels are by far its worst aspect imo. I find them cringe, annoying and just kinda pointless. Except for the Ninji one because that's like the best level in the whole game :D
