Can Triston McKenzie's issues be FIXED in AAA & can Gavin Williams save the Guardians rotation?

The Cleveland Guardians sent starting pitcher Triston McKenzie to AAA. They are already without Shane Bieber for the season and they are still waiting for Gavin Williams to make his season debut. If this team wants to continue to lead the AL Central and have shot at the best record in the American league then they need to make some moves to improve the pitching staff. They also need to try to add some power to the line-up.

Triston has the right attitude. When he 1st came up, he got shelled. They sent him back down and he corrected his issues. He could be down in AAA for the rest of the season. They need 2 top of the rotation starters. If you want to be the best team in baseball, you must be an Alpha team. An Alpha team buys all the best free agent players. They have a top 5 payroll. When in fact they buy the best players they immediately become a WS contender. They have a guiding principle: The team with the best players wins the WS. Cleveland can't compete in that marketplace. There is another Alpha team strategy. Cap the payroll so you are a bottom 5 payroll. This puts downward pressure on the coaching staff, scouts, etc. -- the entire organization -- to develop and continuosly maintain top talent (not just players) throughout the system. It requires continuous innovation to succeed. This type of Alpha team has a guiding principle: The MLB team supported by the best organization -- not the team with the best players -- wins the WS. When you relieve some of the pressure by buying free agent talent you degrade the organization. You become a mediocre organization. This year the organization must maintain its Alpha staus, respond to the call to win the WS by renting some top Players. This is a WS contending Alpha team. When the organization stays invested in its organizational talent it can maintain its Alpha team status -- bottom 5 payroll. It can become a dynasty. Look at the MLB teams ranked in the top 10. They are one of the 2 types of Alpha teams. Everybody else is mediocre. Disclaimer: The Omega teams, the divested teams, the failed teams are excluded from the bottom 5 payroll conversation.

Mckenzie needs the TJ surgery... He can be back by Sep next season.

I nvr was big into mckenzie I always had a problem with his command even during his best year he always gave up un timely homeruns and now with the injury idk

Gavin Williams had to be activated Sunday. His 30-day rehab assignment was done.

Literally what are you saying he is one of the best when it comes to baseball talk if they didn’t have him or jay they couldn’t talk baseball, love the rest of the guys but come on don’t dog on him because you took his words to literally he was saying that pitcher with more meat on their bones tend to stay clear of injuries and that’s a fact !!!
