Chris Fedor of cleveland.com thinks that the Cleveland Cavaliers can get it done with their core four of Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen and that they don't need to make any glaring changes. Listening to Altman is like watching water evaporate in the cold. Now this new coach, and his player development promises, should make everyone less confident they have the guts to move DG. They missed the window anyway . What point guard hungry teams, are sitting around waiting on him? None. Mitchell has to be the one traded now if they do anything. They won't and so it will be the season of empty promises where they win about the same amount of games and get bounced early all over again.

Both should be gone. I'm a cavs fan and this up coming season will be a wash unless they make some type of move. But I don't see that happening. The east has gotten better and the cavs remained the same.

I can live with the coaching hire, draft picks, even keeping Allen…but we need Mitchell to extend and we must trade Garland at all costs. Getting rid of Garland is addition by subtraction at this point just look at all the height, length, & strength of guards in the league especially in the East. Garland showed he’s not built for the playoffs the last two years you can’t expect to roll out Garland, Mitchell, Strus & guard people effectively on the perimeter.

@@thatboionyx6375 agreed! And if we’re being real we need a starting PG as well. Garland can’t be your #2 option trying to go deep in the playoffs, he isn’t good enough. Solid #3. His turnovers late in games are atrocious, I just don’t think he’s built to run a championship offense

If you look at the landscape in the the NBA, most contending teams have two elite scorers that one can take over the game when the other might have an off night. Darius is not that guy. Hes a good player, but he’s most definitely not the 2nd option on a championship team.

I can tell you’re one of those guys that are contempt with just good enough but not great. Yes, the cavaliers are a good team. Currently constructed, they have absolutely no chance at a championship. They only have 2 legit playmakers on the entire team. You can’t win in the playoffs like that. When the Celtics have 5 in their starting lineup. Everyone else make big time moves and got better while the cavs sat on their hands.

Donovan Michell PROVED in the Celtics series, when they matched up against each other, that hes a better player than Jalen Brown. Browns defense IS a slight tilter, but not by much. Donovan can do more.

Dude was injured, broke his jaw sat out lost weight came back wasn’t in good shape because he lost almost 20lbs and his stamina was down yea you’re gonna probably shoot bad not having your legs under you. JB’s offense was set a pick and make a play ppl. It was absolute garbage. Yea it’s cool to run that but we need a legitimate system to run and that’s why JB is gone and KA is here. With that said I was on the we need to trade DG train and still am DEPENDING what the return is can’t just do it to do it. But under KA Garland will be better I can 100% guarantee it.

Koby is in major self preservation mode...Moving forward we can't get better via the draft or free agency. We have no picks of consequence for the next 5 years and we have no free agent money$. Selecting 4 very undersized and under lengthed players in the lottery Sexton,Garland,Okoro and Agbaji confirms that Koby doesn't value positional; size and length. The only way to get better is via the trade...DM,EM and JA are all expecting huge $$...Poor roster construction and fit are because of Koby..How does he still have a job after 7 years?

The core 4 was Markenan, Garland, Mobley and Allen. Should have kept that team together and got a 2.This team was a better team than the current team. There will be no developing while Mitchell is there. Mobley and Garland were all stars. Mobley was an all defensive player to boot.

Kolby Altman is so trash. After we drafted Mobley.. we had the youngest stacked team and tons of first round picks. Jalen Tyson has the EXACT same measurements as Okoro. He’s not a big 3. I’ve said it since he traded for Mitchell. He basically pigeon hold us into Toronto with DeRo and Lowery. Consistent regular season top 4 , will never go anywhere in the playoffs. AND STOP SAYING WE GOT CONSISTENTLY BETTER. Look at our record Mobley rookie year, we only won 11 more games in TWO YEARS. G bush is right. We ain’t going no where. There best path is recouping what we lost and trade Mitchell and get rid of him.
