One point missed. In HVDC Transmission high Negative voltage Transmission is better instead of positive wire. Because Negative voltage repel electron of atmospheric air. Deu to this 1. conduction through air is minimised. 2. Current leakages in air is drop. 3. Because of this arc formation is minimised.

Great refresher. I think came accross this topic in 1970s. Then DC Transmission used as -500 kV +500 kV. Hype was 1 million V transmission. CORONA effects around cables show up during night time. After all these years I thought it was great idea but not practical. I hope atlast now it will catch up.

learned something new, I thought there has to be two lines for DC but it can work with one line. but we can't power dc trains with a single line right because it will be hard to give train neutral?

Sir uhvdc 800kv ko hi kahte h q ki isme ac to dc conversation me (meens input 1000kv to 800kv output only )loss hota h bcz thyristor me heet loss hota h

nope 800 KV is 800 KV loss of any system is only 1 or 2 percent not 1000KV to 800KV

जी आपने हार विडीओ की तरह ईस विडीओ मे भी बहुत आछे से हामे dc और ac करंट बडे पैमानेमे ईधर से उधर ले जाने मे फायदेऔर नुक्सान के बारे मे समजाया... लेकीन छोटी जरूरतो मे dc करंट का उपयोग जादा तो हामे घरो मे ac करंट के बजाय dc करंट क्यो नही दिया जाता?...वैसे इस के बारे मे युटुब विडीओ होगे लेकीन मुझे लगता है आप इसे आछे से समझा सकेंगे.... बडे भाई.

परन्तु DC तो दूरी के साथ कम हो जाती है। बैटरी के पास में अगर DC बल्व जलाए और 10-15 फिट लम्बा तार लगा के जलाने पर बल्व का पावर लगभग आधा हो जाता है। मैंने ये करके देखा है। रिप्लाई देकर थोड़ा ये कन्फ्यूजन दूर करें
