People don't like the tournament of power for the same reason that you are complaining it's because Goku isn't fighting at his full strength for most of the time the excuse is that he's conserving his energy but others like Gohan just get rag doll anyway. Basically the power scaling is all over the place.

Goku is saving blue for when he really needs it as this tournament is a test of stamina as much as it is raw power. That's why he isn't just staying in blue.

Fun Fact: Ultra Instinct comes from Mushin No Shin meaning “mind without mind”. It’s a REAL LIFE mental state that martial artists and practitioners of meditation attempt to attain constantly. It’s when someone’s mind is absolutely clear of thoughts of anger, fear or even ego and becomes completely open to act or react to an opponent without being obstructed by thoughts. It’s not entirely reflex, which is usually for defense, but offense as well. In other words your body moves and acts on it’s own while you are both controlling and not controlling it. I’ve achieved it maybe 3 or 4 times in my life during training and it’s absolutely surreal.

Another fun fact: while the anime use the Spirit Bomb as the trigger for Ultra Instinct, in the manga it was the accumulation of Goku's training throughout the years from Korin, Kami, King Kai, and Whis that caused it to awaken. But he only awaken for like five secs before it timed out. The next he triggered it, he was able to sustain it. Also Beerus was able use and demonstrate it against the other G.O.Ds in the Xeno Expose in the manga

i warched this for the first time recently. there has not been a more epic introduction to a super fighter like they did for jiren. too strong 💪

I'm Italian and I don't know if it's normal but I've noticed that in English reactions many tend to be surprised by everything like over reaction, in the part where you see the red aura mixed with the blue one perhaps because it was the first time you've seen it but it was something that had already been discovered in the previous saga when goku fights beerus in space, otherwise I like these reactions

Before these 2 episodes were released I was getting really disappointed by the Tournament Of Power. But I can confidently say that these 2 episodes really kept me watching hard.

Although Vegeta didn't share his energy for the spirit bomb, he did kinda share it in a roundabout way by Galick Gunning Ribrianne to stop her from interrupting the spirit bomb. Saving his energy ended up letting him be even more of a team player.

Also forgot the music for me is Japanese better this eng dub music I didn't feel it as much

This is the reaction we've been waiting for. I'm only at 9:25 and I'm loving it.

To give u a bit of perspective. When you move fast, people are able to see the afterimage or the "blur." For example, the flash. He moves fast, so things are portrayed as slower to him. As an animator, to show how fast someone is moving, another example is Dash from Incredibles, the scene where they were trying to prove dash was the one that did thr incident with the tac, yet he looked like he didnt move at all. They animated both Jiren and Goku in a way that yes They are fighting, but you see them standing still. That eye effect is for us viewers to indicate somthing is happening. Jiren stood still, and goku was hitting the attacks of Jiren that you see flying around. Aka the after images of his fists, even though he's not moving. This was so beautifully done.

Glad you did these 2 episodes in one, it broke the internet when it first came out. So did episode 116 and 130, and you'll understand wants ya see it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR REACTIONS, QUITE ACCURATE AND GENUINE.

i just loved jiren's dignity when goku almost destroyed jiren and he asked goku to finish him and then suddenly goku's energy destroyed himself from within, jiren didn't want to throw him off guard but just because of his destroyer's order, he had to do it. At that moment, Jiren had my respect.

These are very significant moments that I am glad to see Melons reaction to all this as its perfect, the shock at the effect on UI Goku, the moves being utterly different for Goku, the music and images. Its how I felt at the time.

This episode was wild! Ultra Instinct is astoundingly cool in looks and power, but it doesn't last long at all... Either way, the Tournament of Power was by far my favorite part of DBS.
