Thanks for the help! Does the washable filter underneath the Ultracaptic also need to be replaced, or is washing it good enough?

I see some vintage vacuum cleaners in the background will we see any video's on them? and are you a collector? even though I'm an antique dealer I always had a soft spot for old vacuum cleaners and if one pops up and I like the design then it comes home and not to the auction room. my oldest is the 1910 star hand-pumped stick vacuum cleaner it's a tube with a nozzle and 2 parts up the tube is a tin can with a harmonica pump on top of it and the handle above that you pull the harmonica section up hard for suction the ease it down and repeat (i have 2 videos showing this) I also have a 1930s hoover and a 1940s sled machine as well as a german 1950s bucket wet-dry machine it came in handy when a storm in 2004 blew my roof window open and I came into my mancave the next morning finding 10 cm of water standing in my room well everything all the antiques were out on an exhibit so no damage to collectibles but still a lot of water needed to be cleared and this german vacuum cleaner worked a treat! it was dry in no time! this brandless vacuum cleaner from the 1950s Germany I bought new old stock in its box and in the rare cases I use it I clean to the max it and back in its box it goes! where it's now waiting for another super wet job! I had a toilet throwing up quite a bit of water a week ago but a mop sufficed,

I thought these were washable filters. Why every 3-6 month?

Do those rows of 'cylinders' on the sides serve any purpose or are they just a cosmetic feature to make it look like it has additional smaller cyclone filters (as seen on Dyson vacs)?

Do you know how to changed the cone filter?
