This song is my inspiration.. I was working in Bombay year 1985.. tired of the work and boss abusive languages.. I thought going back to my gaon.. one day walking on the road.. this song was playing loudly at a paanwala shop.. I stopped and listened to the whole song.. I don't know what force stop me.. I continued my job.. I got promoted three times in 6 years.. got married. Now enjoying a good retirement.. life is strange.. sometimes a song can motivate u to continue what u are doing.. thanks Kishore Kumar for this motivating song.. ❤❤❤

जब पंचम दा ने इस गीत को रिकॉर्ड किया था , रिकॉर्डिंग के बाद पंचम दा ने गुलजार साहब को फोन किया और कहा मैंने आपके लिए गीत रिकॉर्ड किया है आप जल्दी से स्टूडियो आ जाओ। गुलजार साब को पहुंचते पहुंचते रात हो गई । तब दोनों मित्र स्टूडियो से बाहर आकर कार में बैठ गए और सारी रात यह गाना चलता रहा और सारी रात ड्राइविंग करते रहे।।
