I'VE SEARCHED FOR THIS SONG FOREVER. I must've seen it on TV when I was younger, years later all I could remember was the music video. My search history was full of "animals pears graveyard music video","animals ghosts surfing music video", etc. I gave up a long time ago and now this pops up in my recommended. I'm shook.. 😭❤

This is my favorite song. I listen to so many different types of music: Pop, Rock, Psychedelic Trance, Goa, Smooth Jazz, Easy Listening, Hip-Hop, Hyphy, Punk, Country...just all kinds of good music out there. Out of all the songs, artists, themes, moods... This is my favorite song.

Morcheba is brilliant because the lyrics take on a whole new meaning once you think outside yourself, everyone is capable all you have to do is free yourself from the self imposed false reality of fear.Then all you have left is the present moment and love.

I think the song speaks of solitude, loneliness, facing your fears and skelletons in your closet and most of all opening your mind and forget the past because it's nothing but chasing shadows, we should instead just enjoy the ride. There is bunch of little lyrical tells in the song about instability because of constant soul-searching and trying to find answers about life --- the bigger picture and what it's all about.. Great lyrics and a great video.

I first heard this song on the aeroplane coming home from a year away working and travelling. The beautiful lyrics and melody were spell-binding, alleviating my feelings of loss and fears about starting again. Whenever I listen to it i'm immediately comforted and happy again :)

We weren't always close or best friends, but I hope he stays, he's the only family member I spent longer than 16 years with.
