Ultron: A very intelligent, self-aware, and evolving machine created by a man. Brainiac: An alien that gathers all type of information throughout the universe. I dunno guys...I just see Brainiac having the upper hand. But hey, that's my opinion btw.

Ultron pretty much destroyed earth in Age of Ultron story line... but Brainiac has managed to conquer galaxies and destroy hundreds of earth like planets acquiring technologies far superior than earths... yeah.. I think I'll give this one to Brainiac.

i see no reason why a computer made from tech of multiple galaxies would lose a 'hacking battle' against something made from ONE GUY on earth.

You know, power scaling aside, despite the similarities between these two characters they would ultimately be enemies, Ultrons Job is to create order and justice, Brainiac wants to digitize all things interesting or existing, Ultron would ultimately see Brainiac as a threat which I think is very interesting.

But Arris.... just like you said "ultron would do X but brainiac would counter with Y" etc... Doesn't then that dictate that the smartest thing in the universe would be able to put up a firewall or anti-hack Ultron? I know you claim to like both equally but I can't help but feel more of a marvel fanboy vibe from you. Brianiac would win. Simply put he's Ultron on steroids. Where as Ultron failed to conquer Earth. Brainiac had already conquered many planets across the universe.

Ok since there's a lot of this going on here this is what I think Movies - Hands Down Marvel Games - DC No doubt Shows - DC Animated - DC Comics - It always depends on the writer (tie) Characters - And I'm sorry but DC just have better more relatable more evolved and just better thought out characters. Well here's the thing about Ultron's hacking ability, while he has been shown to take over any technology he wants via Wifi, the dude has never been able to crack vision (a robot he built) or even Tony's Iron Man suit for more then a couple minutes before they some how regain control. Compare that to Braniac who runs all of his stuff through his far more advanced mind, and Ultron's wifi hacking becomes laughable we are talking about the guy who in the current time line has taken over every communication satellite, and even hacked into the mind of organic hero's as Brother Eye. The fact is Brianiac's mind control is on another level then Ultron's and that's why I have to hand the win to DC.

Hm I feel like Brainiac wins this most of the time because he's just WAY more knowledgeable. But Brainiac has a much wider variety of technology. I think the only way for Ultron to win is to emulate superman and prime all his mental capacity for defence against invading hacking. I could see him being quick enough to shut Brainiac down physically. But that would require Ultron to study Brainiac beforehand, otherwise I think Ultron would fall into the trap of approaching this fight on a hack-tech arena not realising just how much unknown factors Brainiac can throw at him there. The very thing you make him win with, is the trap he loses by. So my answer is Brainiac wins if they do not know each other, Ultron wins if they do.

Just recently subscribed cause I just got into comics about a year ago (I know, where have I been? Lol) but this channel has been pretty habitual for me to watch at least 3 episodes a day 😂. But I just had to leave a comment and say that it's always awesome to hear you talk about keeping it mature in the comments! Many people on the internet feel like they can just say anything they want, just cause the fact that they don't feel like there are any repercussions to typing on a screen, but they have to realize that they are all commenting on someone else's actual thoughts, and we all have different opinions on a specific matter! Take into account what the other has to say, and respectfully offer your personal thought on the topic at hand, instead of just putting someone else down just because they feel a different way. This fight isn't as cut and dry as a lot of people make it out to be. This may be the most evenly matched match-up I've seen yet, I'd give both a 5/10 success rate. However, Ultron has the advantage in this poll simply because the movie coming out so it's quite obvious he'll win the poll. I'd pick Brainiac as the champion due to his strength, I do not think adamantium is a deciding factor here, but really the fight can go either way.

My argument for why ultron would beat brainiac in a fight is the age of ultron story from the comics. He basically killed the whole marvel universe.

This is a very tough one, especially how much of a dangers galactic threat Brainiac is, but considering the fact that Ultron was capable of taking over the Phalanx race instantly, who are well known for taking over multiple planets and destroying civilisations, I think Ultron has this.

I think Brainiac would take this one. Mostly because he is obviously smarter but also has access to alien tech and a lot more weapons.

Knowledge is being spread like wildfire, but so are insults of "DC fanboy" this and "Marvel fanboy" that. I just don't think now's a good time for Ultron vs anybody, since his movie's coming up and this battle might just turn into a popularity contest. I have absolutely nothing against Marvel or Ultron. I know the Age of Ultron is going to be good; the Avengers was amazing, and we all know how well-off Marvel is with other movies like Guardians of the Galaxy or Big Hero 6. But Marvel fans aren't just Marvel COMIC fans anymore. People often point out how "ignorant or biased or over defensive" DC fans are, but Marvel is very, very mainstream now. I'm going to assume a lot of people who watch VariantComics might not read the actual Marvel/DC comics, so they lack knowledge on the subject. As for DC fans, the animated movies do great but are more obscure to mainstream fans who prefer Marvel only for the movies. When I was little, I thought Marvel was darker. Now I realize that DC can be far darker than Marvel. Yes DC characters can be super OP, but their villains are OP too, thus making the DC heroes seem less OP and even normal. As for Marvel having more "down-to-earth" heroes, that's not always true. Look at Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, his immortality and his current dating position with Death. Brainiac and Ultron are both pretty OP as well, but their strength differs from story to story. I'm not insulting Marvel fans, I'm just saying that I see "you DC fanboys are all stupid" more than "you Marvel fanboys are stupid". This does go for DC fans as well, however. It's not nice, so please calm down, clear your head, and think before posting a reply. Can't we all have a civilized conversation without being at one another's throats? I don't care if I sound preachy, I'm sure most people agree that having your intelligence insulted is not pleasant. As for these VS videos, I really like your content, Arris. But I would recommend throwing out your opinion in the next video with reasons why. Having your influence on decision may mess up the voting a little. :I I honestly don't know who would win. I'd vouch for Brainiac in terms of knowledge, given how tough he is. But in terms of strength, Ultron could probably take Brainiac. We all know how powerful Ultron's suit is. Ok you should redo this matchup with the new52 and convergence taken into consideration and it becomes clear ultron is a flea and is more of a match up with brother eye from new52 i Would still bet brother eye(which by the way was collected and contained by brainiac) would still win just because of his ability to wipe out all of earth's hero's and completely overtake that world. Brainiac has managed to take not just one world but every universe and continuity the only existence is what he has chosen to preserve. then one of his creations place them in a grudge match leading up to the reintroduction of anti-monitor. ultron is a virus just like brother eye a man made creation, hardly a comparison to the infinite power and abilities of even the old brainiacs reach but taking new52+ into consideration there is no match up only a quick loss.

The hacking argument is tough since that could really go both ways. Braniac is extremely familiar with earth tech and has been shown to mass hack technology in the animated series. It would pretty much be a fight between who was faster and who has the best defense. i think braniac would have this hands down since most ultron models are still only human tech.
