DOMINARIA LORE:
The Umezawa clan is probably one of the most famous and well traveled families in the multiverse, without any of them being Planeswalkers! The Umizawa started on the plane of Kamigawa where their ancestor, Toshiro Umezawa, helped end the great Kami War. Toshiro, without planeswalking, found himself cast to Dominaria. His descendant, Testuo Umezawa, would go on to KILL NICOL BOLAS on Dominaria and free his region of the tyrant dragon. Now we have a very mad Nicol Bolas vowing to kill all Umezawa in the multiverse, with a new Legend of this family rising with our Return to Dominaria. What will be Tetsuko Umezawa's story?

EDIT: It's no real excuse, but English is a second language for me, so please do forgive the rude sounding phrasing. 6:36 "Like *HIS"* Look at her name then her art. Tetsuko is literally the female version of Tetsuo. Her face and "chest bulges" say female to me as well.

Honestly love this channel but i miss the old FNL stuff and the music in those videos really connected me to the stories. This channel is the only reason I really pay attention to the lore and flavor text of cards.

I hope this isn't the last of Tetsuko myself! It's so weird they decided to even create this character for nothing but a reference to a long dead family tree of thr Magic history (and a set that wasn't liked by many?). She might not do much, but could do enough to distract Bolas for it to get played again.

I remember getting fed up with the disparity in power between mirrodin and kamigawa, didn't stop me from loving the books that used to be in the fat packs back then. I bought them for the books alone by the end of the block. I came back to magic during time spiral and I got the books again. Bolas was fear-inspiring when he said he was going to hunt down all that have the Umezawa blood flowing in their veins. Up until then I thought the block books were unrelated.

I want a Tetsuko during my prerelease! There is no other card I want more than this legend.. so weird that I like her so much while knowing so little of her. At least, it's cheap and someone's might trade me one.

So because Bolas swore to destroy all people with any ties to the Umezawa, it might why Bolas is building an army of eternals and the planar bridge to transport them to Kamigawa to destroy the plane.

wait, by the end of kamigawa spirit war, didnt the sisters spirits create a barrier arround the plane that prvented outside threat from entering? if so, HOW DID BOLAS ENTER IT? like, i know he is bolas, but common!!!

Is Tetsuko a "him" or a "her?" It looks like Tetsuko shares that first name with a Japanese actress, (thanks Google,) and there seems to be a bit of a chest under that shirt. It looks like we will see the first Legendary female decedent of Toshiro Umezawa.

Aye lmk do you think this could happen? : Tetsuko's family was massacred in front of him by Bolas, but because he inherited toshiro's shadow ability somehow he was saved. This pain ignited his planeswalker spark and maybe thats why he's a fugitive now
