Justice was done by court . Not siddique or 'അമ്മ. എടൊ കോടതി ആണ് കുറ്റവാളിയെ ശിക്ഷിക്കാനും, വിധി പറയാനുമുള്ള അധികാരം അല്ലാതെ 'അമ്മ എന്താണ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. അംഗങ്ങളുടെ welfare ന് വേണ്ടി ആണ് ആ സംഘടന. അല്ലാതെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാനോ, ജയിലിൽ ഇടാനോ,ശിക്ഷിക്കാനോ അധികാരം ഇല്ല. അത് കോടതിക്കു ആണ് കോടതിയോട് പോയി പരാതി പറയു

Oh I wholeheartedly agree about the court system dispensing justice. What I meant was they are being a little insensitive about wanting women to be quite. I was not blaming anyone. What Siddique said I understand or can try to understand but what KPAC Lalitha said as a mother and women kind of hurt me. Almost all work field has some organization of this sort so lets say as a (Man, Woman or child) at a school, hospital or workforce, one is wronged. Although I wait on the court system to deliver "Justice" anyone person would hold the organization to a moral obligation, respect or acknowledgement. I dont think anyone is expecting AMMA to do anything more than that. Just some kind words, reaching out to help some empathy instead of saying women should be quiet, women should shut up. Hope you can understand my perspective as a sister, women, mother and daughter.

Kannadachu iruttakkunnu. Iam a big fan of lalettan and I can understand his helplessness due to some rules in the constitution of Amma. But this case is not a silly one that some one commented/ misbehaved/shouted/not paid remuneration/stared at some lady..it's about a crime which was well planned and executed by arranging a criminal to rape a woman. If Amma doesn't feel righteousness for calling an urgent general body meeting now ..then when do they feel an emergency arises. With all due respect to all brothers in Amma , don't u think it is high time they should at least suspend the accused and show a gesture to protect dignity of a woman.wont u do it if it was ur own daughter. And also these actresses who are going extreme by using such immatured tactics in front of media by accusing lalettan unnecessarily is not a solution either

General Body was called after Executive COmmittee decided to expel Dileep. General Body overruled Executive's decision, and therefore the expulsion was retracted. The President of any body does not have the right to overrule the majority decision. If you do believe in democratic principles, then you cannot complain about what has happened. What is the point of calling another general body to present the same agenda as the previous meeting? AMMA has not sided with Dileep, AMMA has not provide legal protection to Dileep, and AMMA has not isolated the victim. AMMA has remained, and rightly so, a neutral party in a case that is now in court. AMMA is not an employer, nor does it have the powers to decide where and when anyone gets work. What WCC is asking of AMMA involves presumption of guilt. Does being a member of AMMA grant any kind of legal immunity to Dileep in any way? Does an AMMA membership have any authority or power that will help Dileep interfere with investigations? Then why so much energy being wasted on a simple basic membership of a civil association of actors? If WCC is so serious, help the victim fight this out in court, because the case is now in court and can be won or lost only there, not in AMMA and certainly not in press conferences.

@@cricofando-3954 whatever you say is absolutely right.i truly stand by the democratic principles of any organisation.however in a different and unique case like this we have to think morally too. Actions from Amma in a public domain does not provide a moral gesture to the woman attacked. It rather sends out a wrong message of hiding behind some rules/regulations of Amma. Anyways it's better to wait for court to decide rather than criticising lalettan/ Amma representatives on forth. I really hope justice prevails.
