If you can make the Nova assist hit during the hitstop of another move, you can make Nova's assist reset your ground bounce.

That's used in the video. The stronger nova assist pickups aren't used because they flip out of S to H at this level of decay. Thats why the combo is S, (nova assist hits, resetting ground bounce), H(hits before they hit the ground so it ground bounces and also allows round trip glitch)
