Not sure if anyone still cares about this but the reason you press HK is because after the dash out of metal shield the game won't let you immediately go back into metal shield. It tries to force out your next button. If you make the button your slowest button, you can just immediately cancel back into metal shield.

Is Magic Pixel Mexican Sacktap or are they entirely different? Also, I thought PS4 UMvC3 had extra input lag, is it just the best version readily available?

yes they are the same person. the ps4 version has 1 or 2 more frames of native input lag compared to the xbox360 version. I think most would say PC is the best version of the game.

@@PatFGC yeah, but PC tournaments are likely never gonna happen. I remember hearing it was way worse though, but an extra frame or two isn't that bad I guess.

If you can make the Nova assist hit during the hitstop of another move, you can make Nova's assist reset your ground bounce.

doesnt even need to be hitstop. he literally will always just ground bounce with that move

That's used in the video. The stronger nova assist pickups aren't used because they flip out of S to H at this level of decay. Thats why the combo is S, (nova assist hits, resetting ground bounce), H(hits before they hit the ground so it ground bounces and also allows round trip glitch)
