A a UN judge at the International Court of Justice has said that Britain must pay £18 TRILLION in reparations for slavery. Historian Rafe Heydel-Mankoo joined GB News to debate this story, where he pointed out that -- contrary to the way in which this has been reported -- this is not a court ruling but, rather, the opinion of a man who, when he is not a judge, is a prominent Jamaican-born reparations activist.
Rafe says Britain has no legal or moral obligation to pay reparations as it already paid any such debt through its historic efforts to liberate slaves and enforce an end to the slave trade. British tax payers do not owe any reparations.
