**SOLVED** This may not apply to your specific situation. I was using a SD card adapter, connected to an SD port USB adapter, because the info was stored on a microSD. The culprit was the SD card adapter. I noticed that the SD port USB adapter also had a slot for microSD cards. So I took the microSD card out of the SD card adapter and just slid it directly into the microSD slot of the USB adapter and it worked! The SD card adapter must have put up some sort of barrier or prevented efficient re-formatting. Note that the SD card adapter was NOT in the physical 'locked' mode AND that I had done what all these other websites and videos had told me to do (CMD prompt, regedit, etc).

What the actual hell. AOMEI software saved my, it actually worked and I could unlock my write-protected, unknown filesystem ruled USB flash drives. Kudos to you. EDIT: Well. It still cannot be formated, and I need to allow copying of files to the sticks as an admin, otherwise I won't copy anything. Still, at least I can store something in there.

Whoever has 64gb or higher and its corrupted u cant fkin format it no matter what! After 3 month research and tries thats what I found out And now fk that sd card and buy new and format it from exfat to fat32 thats it

it is official. nothing works for a high capacity (128 GB) card. All methods are applicable for small cards.

For step 2 it's showing at the last where (fs=ntfs quick label=myflash) ; showing diskpart is showing an error, the parameter is incorrect.

(SOLVED FOR SD CARDS - worked for me )Before everything else try to insert sdcard into "SDCARD ADAPTER" and check its unlocked and then try to do whatever you want with sd card.!! If doesn't look other solutions.

Thanks for this great video. My usb drive got corrupted so a regular right click on the drive and clicking format didn't work but when i went into disk manager i could create it as a new volume. Now using Windows 10 media creation Tool to make a bootable Windows 10 on my small 16Gb usb drive.
