This bird story is a little bit strange, never happened to me before, female budgie gets a little bit crazy with the eggs.

Alen, budgies may develop many types of behavior.please dont waste your energy on mr snowflake and nibbler anymore(i am sorry if the name is wrong).they are not a good breeding pair.i dont know how you are tolerating heartbreak again and again.breeders select good breeding pair,and they always get good results.and another thing could have happened, maybe they didn't like such interruptions.they dont like much human handling.they smell very well.once I checked my budgies eggs and she suddenly threw out all of them.after that I never did.waiting for more videos

There's so much human interference in the budgie breeding process it becomes unnatural. Budgies may be responding to that. I don't know but it's something to think about?🐦🐦❤❤🙏🏻

Hi!! My birds did the same. It usually happens because they need more space, they have too much kids, if someone touches them, or if she feels unsafe. In the video, you did remove the eggs when she was sitting on them, sp she might have killed them because of that. She also might have done it because one of the eggs is infected, and she killed them to protect the other eggs. Try not to touch the eggs when she is in nest box, it can make her angry. Give her some space. Maybe she will have more beautiful babies after. Don't worry, it isn't anything very bad, it happens sometimes. Love your videos by the way!

I think she threw out the fertile eggs because you touched them with your hands maybe too much handling can cause her to not want her eggs 🪺

Hey!! Mine did the same! 6 babies were fertilized but she just peck them and take them out of the nest, Then, outside the nest, she put two in the tray. Do you think something would happen if I gave it to another female to nest them? Because the other female is called Nena, she has two babies and accepted the two babies that Moon abandoned. Until then, Nena has proven to be a good mother and pulls all the eggs in the nest under her so that none of them get cold.

Aww poor little eggs. Is there some reason for a female budgie to get rid of her eggs? I know why mammals sometimes kill their young but didn't know birds do the same to unhatched eggs :( hopefully the one from the bird feeder will hatch into a new rascal!

This can happen when female is feeling weak to rise chicks or senses there is something wrong with the eggs. I wish i could stop her from throwing eggs out

Female Abandon Her Eggs If You Touch Them Frequently Or Remove Them She Recognise Her Eggs From Scent If The Scent Is Gone She'll Destroy Them Thinking It's Not Hers I'm From India My Mama Told Me He Has A Farm Of Budgies,Parrots & Pigeon They Never Touch Their Eggs If The Bird Is Not Tamed

It's been my experience that if you leave an egg (fertile or not) in a nest with a hatched chick, the parents are far more likely to feed the nested chick, while incubating the egg.

Interesting, glad my gift of learning something new today came from you again, massive respect for another who helps , cares for one's happiness, even if no reward gained Sorry the eggs destroyed were birds choice, nature nurture, glad yo got healthy birds, patience, they love you and it's because of all that yo do- you are doing the best for them, no reward or anything expected for that, it's just what you do for another, and wish you well with what you endure. I’m so sad as my 2 budgies had their first egg then just yesterday the dad died it was so sudden it was probably mites that we’re eating him☹️ I miss him so so much.

Probably nibbler was too much exhausted and weak to keep the eggs or maybe hot weather conditions made her do this 😓😓

When my breeding female got stressed she abandoned her nesting box and tried to nest in the food bowl! 😭 I put another nesting box in there and she’s using it now. Hopefully she’ll lay eggs. Really sorry to hear the eggs were ruined. You can still breed that pair if you get an incubator and put the eggs there instead!

Alen you need to have concave bottom in their nest boxes. This will help your budgies keep their eggs and not throw the eggs out. Please check it out. There's a place you can get them from. Most breeders use the concave cups.

😥So sad the three little budgies couldn't grow and hatch . Maybe Nibbler couldn't get rid of the infertile egg and so she decided that all are infertile ?

One of my new pair laid eggs few days ago bt she didn’t sit on the egg & i don't know it's fertile or not. So i give it to my old breeding pair & she accept it as one of her owns. Now i can't chk if it's fertile or not cz as soon as i put my hand near my box, She's always rdy to take a piece out of my hand. She's indeed a tame bird & very sweet in nature, bt everytime she laid eggs. She turns into a totally different bird. Any way, I'm glad it's under a very good caring mother ❤️

My birds always do this they don’t always keep the eggs they mostly just break them and sometimes they let them hatch and after that they murder the babies this time we are hand feeding them and they grew up so they will probably survive this time

My budgie gave 4eggs all fertile but for some reason 3 eggs didn't developed fully and were rotting.so i threw 3but in one egg there was baby. I helped baby to come out of shell but mom budgie didn't accept it and threw it out of nest. At the end of the day baby died. @Alen Axp can u pls tell why

Please hope that its 100000000% hole safe so that the birds dont fly away or a cat comes in ( My parakeets are also living in a outside cage and sadly they all flew away ) ( which is 4 parakeets )
