One of the best trips of my life! We woke up early to summit Bluff Knoll at sunrise and had an awesome experience with a sea of clouds falling over the peak. Went on to climb Castle Rock and hit up Albany to round off an epic day.

Doralane sells the worst pies in Albany. They are all pastry with hardly any filling and they cost too much. You will find the best pies near Albany in Mt Barker.

You’ll love it bro! We stayed at Yardup about 15 minutes north of Bluff Knoll. We started at 5am and summited at 6:30 just before sunrise so about 90mins casually.

Thanks mate that means a lot. The fires definitely took their toll - the regrowth has been equally widespread though and the park is looks fairly green and lush in most parts - especially at Bluff Knoll.

This trip was pretty straightforward. Day 1; Bluff Knoll for sunrise, drive to Porongurups, climb Castle rock. Head to Albany for lunch and explore the Torndirrup NP. Day 2 we head home. I have some other videos of South West road trips if your interested.
