Sorry but people don't travel all the way from Europe or America to the Philippines to see... sardines ! Thousand of colorless fish that all look the same. People want to see colorful coral fish with a variety of shapes ! 🐠

To each their own! We have seen colorful fish in coral dozens of times snorkeling around North America but have never seen the quantity of fish we saw at the sardine run which made it really incredible!

The colour is provided by the light - below 3 meters the ambient light starts to disappear, starting with red. That's why divers use filters and lights. No filters, no ligits - no color, no matter how good your camera. These guys were snorkelling - almost impossible to manage a decent camera rig underwater
