Such a special song, sung so beautifully. This song was written for the 1955 film "Unchained" about a guy in prison who is hoping his love still loves him and will wait for him to get out. "Time goes so slowly"......It is a very heart-rending song if you know the context. Listen to it again now that you know. It was nominated for an Academy Award that year but lost to "Love is a Many Splendored Thing".

Unbelievable is a fair call. We have become so used to the exceptional vocal quality and presentation that Lucy produces that we start taking her for granted.the reality is that we are witnessing the emergence of a generational talent of extraordinary quality. Thanks for your continued support and promotion and yes, I love Lucy too.

Hi ya Chadeo - another great reaction. You don't have to be first every time. You got to it and the support you give to Lucy and Lucy & Martha is exceptional. I lived in Evergreen and Boulder when I was 'stationed' at the Air Force Accounting and Finance Center in Denver. I used to go up to Rocky Mountain National Park a LOT. Be careful up there - sometimes it is a long way down! Thanks - always enjoy your reactions! Stay safe and healthy!!!

Compared to Angelina Jordan's 2023 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony performance of "Unchained Melody" with the KORK Orchestra (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jt6UqKqEz6euc6M.htmlsi=WGQyvuGq3m_5bs3o) this performance is totally believable.
