electronics can work...but the life of each part its like 80% less.... but it can work if you let them dry few days or using something to dry it

@@estebanmartinez4410 Water shouldn't damage computer parts at all as long as they're not powered on or charged when they're wet (and as long as you don't blast it so hard with the water to damage it with force)! The key is to make 100% sure it's dry before turning it back on in any way. Some people wash arcade machine boards in the dishwasher and then bake it in the oven at very low temperature to make sure it's dry!

Aren't you supposed to put some type of non-conductive grease under the anode cap?

@@stevesje71 Silicone grease was only necessary on models where the EHT ‘flower’ was made of a less flexible plastic such as PVC, which often was not flexible enough to provide a good seal against damp in general and condensation in particular. Japanese models almost always had ‘flowers ‘ made from a far softer and more flexible material, possibly silicone rubber . This made for a far better seal that did not need silicone grease to moisture proof the EHT connector. Not sure any manufacturer ever applied silicone grease as a moisture proof measure during production. It was usually a last resort to try to stop the arcing that could easily be mistaken for gun fire!
