as a big motorsports fan and also a driver in F4 i love seeing the reactions and also the questions you guys have. like at around 4:15 that V8 supercars driver ran out of fuel coming out of the last corner. that big jumping truck was a trophy truck, they race some street circuits with ramps on parts of the tracks and stuff (no idea which trophy truck series it was bc theres a few). that "police car" was a safety car, which is used to slow and set the pace of the racers behind it when theres an accident on track that needs crew to come on track and remove it. slows the pace so the guys can clear that mess safely. the trucks you asked about being NASCAR are indeed NASCAR but people don't know that theres different NASCAR series, like the xfinity cup series, and theres also a NASCAR truck series too. crazy this video is a year old!

Nascar drivers really are a different breed. That is the toughest racing in the world. Not necessarily the most skilled but the endurance and the difficulty level is just unreal...even though rallycar is up there too

NASCAR has several different series, the one that is well known is the sprint cup series , then there is a “minor league” version of that in simple terms, that is currently called the xfinity series and then you have the truck series
