check out Besamé, they only do modern makeup in old school packaging, they even color match old lipsticks!

I think make up was expensive even back then because 3.00in the 1950s was the equivalent of about 32.00 in today’s money but thank you for sharing great purchases I love it ❤️🌹

If you don’t care about keeping the original contents, I would carefully clean out the bottles that have liquid in them, find out what the actual color of the product used to be and make your own with water/rubbing alcohol and food coloring. Or make a color that goes with your color scheme scheme. That way they look nicer displayed and you can display them with the product and the box separately.

If you calculate inflation.. let’s say it’s 1955 and you buy something for $1.37, in 2020 that would mean it costs $13.11. still cheaper than what most cosmetics go for today. 🤷🏼‍♀️
