Pezzoatite is one of those minerals that just looks edible, the pink and orange colors together are just so visually appealing!

I always associate stones to what flavor candy they'd be. Definitely one of the sour flavors!

Great, now I need to collect me some hackmanite asap. I absolutely adore gemstones with unique optical properties. Thank you for your content. You two make a great duo, the knowledge you both share with us viewers always keeps me on my toes.

Pargasite blew me away. Is it like fluorite in that it will come in a rainbow of colors, or is it just two or three? Either way a stunning stone to look for. I had no idea Cuprite was so rare. Always had wondered why I only saw it in raw form in metaphysical stores. Now it makes sense.

I always love your videos but I especially like the ones with Rececca and Britney, and those where I learn about gems I haven't heard of before. Five new ones for me here and although the Pezzoatite and the faceted Pargasite were my favourites colour-wise, the Anglesite really made my day because not only is Anglesey one of my favourite places, William Withering was born in my own birthplace - Wellington in Shropshire (UK) - although I now live in Ireland (having left for my new home by boat from Anglesey). Just a couple of other bits of gem/Withering related info to say thank you for this episode. There is another gem called Witherite that believe was discovered by Withering but not formally identified until later when it was named in his honour. Also, Withering was a member of the 'Lunar Society', a group of Enlightenment figures who met together in Birmingham (the one in the English Midlands). He is commemorated in one of the co-called 'Lunar Society Moonstones', of which there are nine, and which are sandstone monuments to these pioneering thinkers rather than actual 'moonstones' as we would normally see them on this channel. Funnily enough, Withering's stone is not the one commemorating a geologist - Withering is commemorated for his pioneering research on digitalis from foxgloves for use in medicine - the geologist commemorated is James Keir. There is also a pub named after Withering in my hometown. Thank you again. I loved this video.

Seeing Rebecca again made my day! 👍🏼 The facetted Pargasite‘s color made me guess it‘s a Painite. But a Painite that size and clearness would be very very expensive 😱

I love the cuprite! The colour is so intense:D I have a faceted stone which I think might be hackmanite. It changes from clear to blue and glows pink-orange like sodalite but I forgot to write it down on a card when I bought it.

Hackmanite is one of my "wish list" gemstones due to its rarity.... But until I find the right one (hackmanite) I'd just settle with my Taafeite (2ct) & Clinohumite (7ct) gemstones which are equally rare and valuable.

Has this channel gone into the history of mining, how gems/stone came to be precious to humans, if they have any medical or useful properties, and the slave labor or mining on indigenous lands?
