The visual layout is at once complex and clean...sort of a simplified complexity in terms of reading the information. Love these due to the northern/southern hemisphere bit, but not thick at all. Also as a finish and texture fan, this dial is glorious!

I must say there are some PF that I just love but sadly the cost of those I love tend to be a bit prohibitive. Nice acquisition. I’d wear that for sure!

@@watchartsci Yeah, somehow PF changed totally after 2020, where the started using designs that suits more people instead of their unique design ques. Also the prices are much cheaper for the pre 2020 models 😁

I always wondered why some watches have 3 date numbers, until I read somewhere that the simple reason is to know what date it is when the hour hand obscures today's date, if that makes sense. I kinda like it on my Calibre de Cartier. Congrats on the new watch, starting to really like PF and certainly their Tonda line.

Hi Bill. I got a Parmigiani Tonda 1950 (stainless steel). But I think in the stainless version the rotor is made from tungsten. The platinum and gold version of the watch - the rotor was made from platinum. Take care.

It's a beautiful watch. I do like the dots for even-numbered dates with neighbouring dates shown (so you can read it). I'm not really big on moon phase either, but it can really look good on some watches, and it won't contribute much to the thickness of the movement. Anyhow, congrats sir! 👍

@@watchartscito make Geneva waves normally the watchmaker needs very thick material(rotors, big plates, bridges are the normal parts) BUT dials are unusually used due to thickness issues but what beauty he did with a fairly thin watch with so many complications. 👌❤️👍😍
