The set looks wonderfull! Love the artwork you have done with them, i have the old set of 72 colors, really need to use them again some time! Now i wonder if they will make the inktense blocks also to a 100 colors....

Thank you. I'm assuming the new 28 colours will be available in block form too at some point this year. Makes sense that if Derwent see a demand for them they'll create them (if they haven't already) xXx

Love the butterfly on the front of the tin! Unexpected gifts are always nice. I've never tried intense. Maybe in the future.

@@kerrynewell-wildlifeartist Thanks! Do I have to dip the Inktense pencils in water for them to work on the paper?

@@catsartpics hi there, the pencils will work dry straight onto the paper, you can then add water to the pigment. If you want to apply wet pigment to your paper then scribble some of the pigment onto a plastic palette first, add water to the pigment and then apply with a brush to your paper. Rub a plastic palette with a piece of sand paper to roughen the palette surface first can help when doing this technique. I personally don’t dip my pencils into water, as the water can seep up into the barrel of the pencil and damage the wood. Just my personal opinion. But I do sometimes wet a brush and take pigment straight from the pencil tip when wanting to paint smaller areas etc. Dry pencil can be applied to wet paper for some great effects too. xXx

Enjoyed video i was wondering if they would come out with a full set now i have small inktense pencils set but i adore the new colors so im thinking of saving up for full set..glad derwent doesnt have a credit card fir their art products id probably max out the card...lol.. thank you for showing about the new bigger set..,,could be a good mothers day present tho....mikelle art mom✍🎨👩🎨💛🇨🇦🇺🇸

I have the pencils and blocks in the 72. Would love the 100 set. I wonder if they changed the formula at all?

I hope you're enjoying your pencil and block sets. As far as I'm aware the formulation hasn't changed, the launch is because Derwent have added an extra 28 colours to the range, hence their biggest set is now the 100 set and not the 72 as before xXx

What a fantastic parcel to come home to! 😊 Looking forward to seeing how the new colours sit in the range of colours - I've seen some exciting names in the new ones... Mango sounds like a nice gentle yellowy orange. Flamingo sounds like we have a new pink (lighter? I hope). There is a new blue too I think - light cerulean sounds good for water... 😍❤️ Going to stop bouncing now, and go and do something else... 😊 (Just wanted to note, my outliner was NOT water-soluble when I used it earlier today. I'm hoping this hasn't changed since I bought them, and you only said it was because you were so excited... 🤗)

Yep the new colours sound wonderfully. Think I WAS over excited, as I’m pretty sure now that the outliner isn’t water soluble lol. Will double check tomorrow. xXx
