I love your amazing purchase and what you have is a lot of beautifully made Barbie patterns. In some of the booklets you got you will see advertised Advance Sewing Patterns for the creative Barbie fans who may not have been able to have afforded all her readymade outfits or for the young designers who just wanted to make something unique for their Barbie. My favourite piece is the Corduroy coat with pockets. Outfits could be pricey and still are today but making something from a sewing pattern which you can still purchase today on Etsy cheaply were a really fun alternative way of designing clothes and learning how to sew. Collectors often use the term Mommy made fashions because really beautiful garments were often run up on many a kind mother’s sewing machine. But the designs came with instructions that could be hand stitched too. Your doll is gorgeous and Midge looks so much better for her makeover!

I loved this so much totally took me back! I was born in 61 and Barbie was my very favorite thing to play with. I had a Barbie and a redhead Skipper in 66. But around 71 I got a big black case like that at a yardsale that was so stuffed with clothes you could hardly shut it with a few Midges and a Ken with blonde fuzzy felt hair. It was the best thing I ever got. I wish I would have kept all that stuff. I only kept my Malibu Barbie and Skipper. Thanks for the video it was so awesome and fun!!!❤

I am new to your Channel and you got a steal with the case, clothes, booklets and beautiful Vintage Barbie. The Smoker Marge was too funny, lol, best laugh I have had today. All the pieces were just lovely, but the black coat with fur collar and red and white bandanna-style dress are my favorites. Beautiful job on Midge's makeup.

This was so cute! I love vintage Barbie! Looks like someone’s mom or grandmother was a very talented seamstress! I think some of the outfits were probably clone Barbie pieces as well. The blue 2 piece pajama look definitely like Barbie. You can look for the Barbie tag in them!

If it still smells like cigarette smoke (and you want it to NOT smell like cigarette smoke haha) you can always try spritzing it inside and out with watered-down vinegar and then set it out in direct sunlight for a couple hours. This helps to get rid of musty smells from fabric and plastic, so it might do the same for a cigarette-y smell...? 🤔 Maybe?? Also I think the tropical dress is my fave! 😎

I think the bikini top is actually a head wrap and the bottoms are the bloomers. And both go with the dress in the same fabric.

The black tag items are original outfits from the 60s! Be gentle with that Barbie, she looks like she could be a #4. They can be scratched or get neck splits so it's good to be gentle. You got a hell of a deal! ❤

Im pretty sure most if not all of the clothes are hand made by someones mama or grandma. They arent true barbie brand clothes or they would have the barbie tag. Also, im fairly familiar with vintage Barbie stuff and those arent familiar to me. But dang! Someone with some serious talent made them. I like the blue tafetta best.
