CARD DESIGN IN THIS VIDEO:
JOY APP ONLY - After videoing the card using my JOY APP, I realized this card isn't on desktop or the regular Cricut App (I searched Cricut Design Space extensively on my desktop). AND unfortunately there is no code on the images in the App. 😫 So first off. I apologize. I will search both next time before using a card design in a video. BUT, all is not lost. Open your Joy App (it's free in the app store, from the homepage, scroll to the fourth category, INSERT CARDS ready to make. When it opens there will be tons to choose from. I have 1,346 options. If you want this card, go to the little hour glass icon and search "CHRISTMAS WREATH" and this image should be the fourth card (until they add more wreath images to the app). Hi I am LOVING this series as I have 2 weeks ago been gifted (by my wonderful Husband) a Cricut Explore 3 - I have made some very nice cards but I do not always know what I am looking at in Cricut. As an example and QUESTION please , I found a lovely cut out of baubles etc but when the Cricut cut the Image it then cut around the image so I ended up with a card size topper and I had to attach this to a card front? I do not understand this and wondered if you could help? I did type Cards in search in the beginning. I shall be and have started watching your Card making Series, thank you so much for this series. Did you catch my first in this series, about how to find card images: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oMh7ZJqE15i6fac.htmlsi=jQd4bb2w_sPoxnRB I'll be honest, I do feel like Cricut could make it a bit easier. And since the making of this video (that I linked above) they've announced that the Cricut Joy app, which made cards oh so easy, is going away in February 2024 and they're updating the Cricut Design Space app to include all the things... here's hoping). And here is a playlist of all of my card videos over the years, you might find some helpful: kzfaq.info/sun/PLYJAbsWmbUWZmt479KJbJUmZ1psfU_Rd9 As for your specific question, I talk about images and selecting ones that don't cut away (so that they end up cutting out) in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d8B0isKL1qebg4k.htmlsi=QTsbaNK8cQtCkdAt where I teach you to make your own from scratch. This might be super helpful. Basically you need the image to stay connected to the card. OR, you'll need to reattach it with glue or foam adhesive dots. I hope some of these help you get started.
