It’s hard to find a review on the White’s Fulton Moc Toe Work Boot. This is from their relatively new line of Goodyear Welted Ready-To-Ship boots in their Brown Distress leather on a Vibram Honey Lug Sole.

I use my fulton as a work boot on the factory floor and it holds up quite nicely.

Just a fyi. I used to have the whites chore boot which is also GYW. From my conversation directly with Whites they will not recraft or resole their GYW line of boots. You have to go to a independent cobbler

I wouldn't consider that a downside. You'll probably never need recrafting (rewelting), but if you do, you won't have to go back to the factory. So a bit like having standard tires and wheels on a car.

Yeah. Personally I use very experienced cobblers to resole my boots so it would not make a difference. However, this is something they should be more transparent about.

I've had my eye on their moc toes for while but can't decide on the six or eight inch... I appreciate that they use a shipping box; kinda bummed that my Nick's just shipped in a 'regular' box.

I always prefer 8 inch for work boots because it helps keep the mud, snow and in the warmer months, bugs out of my boots. Plus it does like a bit sharper to me than lower cut Moc toe boots.

I’ve gotten mine for work and they’re nice and comfy for being brand new boots. I applied some Sno-seal to protect the leather and it really made the boots pop, darkened them up and in a good way. If this is a sanded nubuck leather than it is very, and I mean very, lightly sanded.

@@Bootlosophy hey I would be glad to give a status report. These boots are going to go through water, mud, ice, and snow this October through February. I’ll take care of them of course, but they’re gonna get abused.

Another great review Teik, was looking forward to the first impressions video ever since the sneek peek on Instagram. They look fantastic and even better on foot. One question, I know you have an 8.5 E brannock measurement nowadays, I have the same measurements as well, did the D width feel roomy enough while not feeling too snug? Or do you think the E width would feel too cavernous in comparison? Otherwise definitely plan on grabbing a pair, once there on sale again at least.

I’m 8.5D not E, and I did my usual 8D and they fit great

Ah must have misremembered from a previous video when you mentioned sizing. I know the Fulton widths is from a D to a EE, ill go with a D as I’d prefer a snug fit rather than swimming in em. Thanks again!

I'd like notched eyelet stays on all my taller boots. Red Wing has done them for years on newer models. Perhaps there was a patent or some other barrier for smaller makers.

The leather is one of the most comfortable i have worn. Once the upper is broken in, it feels like cloth. Do not oil around the eyelet. Pay attention on a clicking sound and feel from the shank. Other than that its a great boot and customer service is one of the best i have come across....

I agree. They remind me of a moc toe silverado. I'm curious if the leather for both the Silverados and these comes from the same tannery....it looks very similar. Same soles too.

@stolenalias , you can pair them with navy chinos and a tee shirt or long sleeve button down shirt. A black leather jacket would look great. Maybe a fedora for extra points. If you tuck the tee shirt in, you can pull of a blazer with jeans. All fun stuff!!
