Great, fantastic figure, possibly my new favourite ...got one from Everything Dinosaur a few days ago (even though my piggy-bank is now looking sad and very depleted). However good value for the size, especially compared to PNSO.

Upon watching your review...I immediately ordered this model along with Eofauna Atlasaurus...I love this piece....love the details....

It's very beautiful, I'm delighted you went ahead and ordered both it and the Atlasaurus (which is one of my all-time faves!) 😊 I hope you'll love them both ❤️ Thank you for watching!

Liked the new introduction and logo. Wrestling with the choice of adding this to my collection. I really would appreciate another museum quality sauropod model.

Thank you! It's experimental, I found a very powerful, easy to use editing app and decided to take the plunge 😆 What I should have done is finish the video with a montage of photographs of the model and comparisons with others, but, I live and learn 😊 I do feel that the Atlasaurus is still the crowning glory of their dinosaur collection but this Diplodocus is the only one I've felt compelled to own, since the Invicta one! Like so many of us, I missed out on the Battat and iconic though it is, it has dated. This is an excellent modern replacement 😊🦖

Wow I got first like and first comment! Great video PP, and this looks to be a Stirling figure! Having Atlasaurus already this will be on my wish list!

Wow! that is a large box. Nice review.

Thank you! Yeah it's certainly causing a bit of a headache when it comes to posting it out 😆 The tail is flexible, but ED do not want to risk distorting it by squeezing it into a slightly less-than-accomodating box 😊

incredible figure🤩, I would have liked it in 1:35 scale
@aeonfire822 жыл бұрын
I believe...and I'll believe it more when I actually see a prototype...that Rebor are intending to make a 1:35 Diplodocus for us 😊🦖

Noice. Mine will arrive in two or three days, along with the crazy elephant. Best diplodocus to date in this range. Only problem with it it's the scale, wich should be 1/35, but still within my scale range. Nice review, thanks.

It just so happened a neighbour chucked out a display cabinet where I can display one of these on top! That is one fine model! I have the collectA diplodocus, but this model is more rigorously proportioned. If PNSO won't do a Brachiosaurus then maybe Eofauna should! 😁
@aeonfire822 жыл бұрын
Oooh, that's fortuitous 😁 This figure is a perfect representation of Dippy, that's for sure! And it's all the better for it 😻 I do believe that PNSO teased a Brachiosaurus (or Giraffatitan, I'm not sure 🙈) hopefully some day it will see the light of day! Of course, I have the old-fashioned Papo one, but I still love her 😊 I remember the delight I felt when I picked up the parcel from our post office, and still she sits atop my cabinet, overlooking the room! 🦕

@@aeonfire82 Are you gonna do a vlog for Jurassic World Dominion? Might as well!
@aeonfire822 жыл бұрын
Actually, I honestly don't know what a Vlog is 😅 and...I'm not greatly enthusiastic about Dominion 🙈 Also I'm far too introverted and easily overwhelmed to keep this up with any kind of regular commitment, never mind anything else! Maybe you should go for it 😊🦖

@@aeonfire82 Ok then! 😁I'll be reviewing the beasts of the mesozoic Pyroraptor (which features in Dominion) after I see the film, which will make a two for one video.

Thanks for another great review! I was hoping that either you or Dinos and Dragons would review this soon to help me make up my mind. You seem to be quite happy with it. I don’t know the science of Diplodocus too well, but to me, it almost seems too gracile, especially the legs. What are your thoughts on that?
@aeonfire822 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your continuing support! 😊 It is a very "streamlined" Diplodocus, they've made it as minimal as possible without shrink-wrapping it but it is completely in line with the cast of Diplodocus carnegii, which is extremely gracile 😊 They've gone for an elephant-look to the limbs, and elephants have thick, tight skin around the limbs to maintain blood pressure. I guess that's what Eofauna were thinking in this reconstruction, as it seems likely that sauropods would have had to have something similar. It also appears that they've used the skull of that cast to determine the shape of the head, which is a feature that is not entirely known for sure. I was fortunate enough to see Dippy On Tour and to talk to Susie Maidment about the differences in the shape of the cast's skull, and modern reconstructions that she had with her. It may be that the head shape is a little dated, but at this scale it doesn't really matter 😊 The gait that the model is posed in is in line with recent research that sauropods moved with a gait more akin to hippos than elephants. I hope this helps! 🦖

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Jesus answered him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus Christ loves you. May he bless you all.
