Have you noticed the microfiber soles being excessively hot compared to the typical suede ones? Also have they held up well over the last year?

That's a great question. Unfortunately, I have no idea. It was printed on the label that was a fixed to the box. I would guess it may have to do with the material they're made of, but I have no way to be certain.

I don't like vegan products in Birkenstock brand and none thing. The leather is best!

I prefer leather myself, but of the vegan products I've encountered, these are quite good.
